Yes I've made several Micke Muster videos. They are posted on You tube. Bad Moon Rising, and 17 Miles to Stockholm. A good friend of mine is a "legal Immigrant" from Sweden and Hence my interest in Swedish artists. A few years ago when I was really into the "Classic Car Scene", several folks from Sweden to come visit me and view my cars. I'm too old for that now! The last car I sold, a 59 Dodge convertible is now in Sweden. I did the music video 17miles from Stockholm for one of my Swedish friends that has a 59 Chrysler. I've also posted Keep My Motor Running and Bobby McGee by Micke Muster.

Nice. I looked at them. A lot of names I had forgotten about or never knew on their thread. Guy who said you infringed on him had an attitude. Good for Waylon. Thank you.

So cool video arragement. What's with the flying cat? Sharing.
@garyjohnson779427 күн бұрын
The wife & I are both huge fans of ALL "Cool Cats", including Waylon and the felines in the video. I decided to include both in the video. I thought folks would get a kick out of the flying cat! I originally had the video up by an artist who is relatively unknown by Americans. Even though that video had been posted for many years, You tube dinged me and told me to remove the video, So I replaced the Artist with Waylon. I guess the Artist, Andy Lee Lang, from Austria did not appreciate his American audience? (Or his producers)? The song was originally a "Hit" by Fats Domino. Gary

@@garyjohnson7794 I was alarmed at the flying cat, but when I saw it's destination was a trampoline and safe landing place, I thought it was cute. It went out the window at good timing with the song's lyrics. Do you also make some of Micke Muster's videos?

I had a 59 2 door ex police car D500 engine, great car.... That's when I learned to repair dodges in highschool... Worked eight years at a dodge dealership in SJ Ca. If I didn't go into the Army I would still have that car... It made lots of power......

“Fail-safe” transmission selector pushbuttons? Sorry, NOT. When I was 9 yrs old, we had a ‘60 Belvedere and my Grandpa and Uncle, respectively, ‘57 and a ‘58 Desotos, and all three needed repairs of the push-button mechanisms by the time they were 2-3 years old. All bought new. As I recall, the “R” button (reverse) was the culprit on all three!!! Be extra gentle with yours!!! An absolutely beautiful car!!!
@1959CustomRoyalАй бұрын
I've owned 3 pushbutton cars and still have a 58 Chrysler New Yorker Convertible (owned it over 10 years now & never a problem with the pushbuttons). I had a 57 Desoto when I was a kid and never had any problems. I did have a 59 Dodge the "R" button did not stick out far enough but a classic car repair shop fixed that for me. I've had many more problems with my console shift 64 Dodge I bought brand new. I just replaced the Quick Silver shifter for the 2nd time since 1964. (I thought about changing it out for the pushbuttons as the 64 Dodge was the last year for push buttons alto this car, a Polara 500 would have had the console shifter. I bought the car new as a 4 speed with a Hurst Shifter. Gary

About 10 years ago I was driving home from a car show on the freeway in my 1959 Dodge Custom Royal D500 Convertible. (Restomod). My friend pulls up next to me in his 62 409 Chevy Bubbletop 409 (single carb). Anybody that saw what happened next, would have though they were "halucinating". The Dodge left the Chevy in the Dust! Yep the Dodge had a 475 HP 440 twin 4barrel under the hood with a 276 rear end, (perfect for freeway cruising) or "whatever". I sold the 59 Dodge, but I wished I would have swapped that engine to my 64 Dodge Polara 500 that I bought new. As far as I know, that 59 Dodge is "Chevy huntin" in Sweden now!

Was this video from the early 1990's? I'm guessing 1992 when country line dancing was at its peak. This should have been a #1 country hit for Razzy Bailey if he were on a major record label at the time. Would have been the comeback of the decade behind John Anderson's. One of his best recordings ever! Better than Billy Ray's "Achy Breaky Heart."
@1959CustomRoyal2 ай бұрын
I don't recall the exact date of the video. Razzy's wife sent me a DVD with about 6 videos on it. She said the production company for the videos on the DVD had got way too much red color in the video and She asked me if I could fix (color correct) the videos and send them back to her. The video quality was really poor and the red was really excessive. I used a video editing program called Magix to correct the color and touch up the quality as much as possible with that program. I sent the corrected videos back to her, but I don't know if they were ever "released". I never even saw the "red versions" of the videos anywhere except on the DVD She sent me, So they are very rare. There were 2 videos on that DVD, as I recall, that I really did not care for and I've never posted them on You Tube. I've posted "She's Coming Around", "I Believe That's How It Started", "Night Life"., & "Old Blue Yodeler" The "VOB" file that I have of the DVD shows I modified it on February 27th of 2006. So I suspect the videos were produced somewhere around the early 2000's. Gary
@Mr.NoName19722 ай бұрын
Old Blue Yodeler peaked at only #48 on the Billboard country singles chart in early 1986. This should have been a #1 country smash for Razzy. Unfortunately, Razzy Bailey fell out of favor with country radio by that time. RIP Razzy. You are missed and will always be remembered for your greatness.

The song came out in 1959. We, Mom, brother and me lived on Brighton Ave c/s Santa Barbara Ave (now MLK Blvd). I used to walk to the Coliseum and wave at the Dodgers as they still played there until 1962. The future Dodger Stadium was going to be built in Chavez Ravine as soon as the Hispanic citizens were removed from their homes. I still remember some of them being dragged out of their homes by the LAPD.
