Those auto trans sound like shyt. Cobra sounded good. The cobra and red sounded bad ass. The first 2 vehicles.

@@jeremyhuang13 yeah man life just gets in the way, still have the mustang just been driving it for the most part it’s gotten really expensive to buy mods since covid prices just keep going up. I’m planning on making some update videos on it in the near future just need to find the time. The powersticks had to come off because the long tube headers have to use a specific x pipe and the power sticks were welded into the old x pipe and I didn’t really want a welded exhaust again so I got a new system that could bolt together, it’s much easier to remove if I ever needed to replace the clutch or something.

@@carsandhobbiesah that makes sense. Yeah everything is a super expensive now after COVID. So how did you bypass the check engine light on the ORX pipe? I know you have had it for awhile now. Does the smell without the cats bother you! I have Borla Atak and thinking of putting ORH. I heard the long tubes don’t make that much significant power increase or louder. True?

@@jeremyhuang13 I just used an O2 sensor spacer seems to be working and it passed inspection. For me the headers plus a tune did make a noticeable difference in power. Sound is quite a bit louder but mostly I noticed a large change in tone it's much smoother and higher pitched due to the exhaust now being equal length at the manifolds.

Hey, great video, and exactly what I was looking for! I’m planning to buy a Mustang next year when I come to the U.S. for my studies (I have U.S. citizenship through my mother). I'm 20 years old and will probably get a U.S. driver's license instead of using an international one. I’m a bit worried about the insurance cost because I’ve seen people being charged up to $4,000 for a 20-year-old car. I don’t plan on getting full coverage but rather state minimum coverage, with towing, theft protection, and good personal injury coverage just in case. Could you let me know how much you’re paying for insurance and your situation? If I can find insurance for around $1,200 to $1,400 a year, that would be ideal. Also, I have a question about the cargo capacity since I’ve only owned hatchbacks, and my whole family has only had hatchbacks as well. Is the Mustang really that impractical? I’m used to being able to fit anything and everything into my car. Do you find it okay for daily use and the occasional surf trip or the dunday picnic ? ( This isthe only reason of why i am also considering the trans am, because it has a hatch ) Lastly, how are the back seats? I know they’re not as roomy as a 4-door sedan, but can two adults comfortably fit in the back? Or is it more of a 2+2 setup like the Porsche 911? I won’t be using it like a minivan, but it would be good to know if it can handle some occasional carpooling or road trips with 2-3 friends (especially for surf trips and car meets). i am onyl a 5.5 so it could actually be roomy behind me Thanks in advance

@@Babar13-2 hey there, I pay $970 for full coverage on mine, I'm just turning 26 tho. I personally found it to be very practical the trunk space is the same as any small sedan like a Corolla or a civic, you can also put down the back seats to get more room. The back seats are not useful to seat adults, maybe a child would fit but I would not plan on it for adult passengers. Hope this helps!

Just bought a 99GT with only when I bought it 1700 miles on it. A convertible with tonneau cover came with it plus adjustable Koni shocks, aluminum drive shaft,Borla exhaust, plus Vortech supercharger with after cooler. I had a 2008 mustang GT that I did a few things to get horsepower up but I have to tell you 99 is a lot more fun to drive yes you actually have to drive it yes I’m a old guy and I grew up with more mechanical automobiles, and he was spot on about feeling the road. Finally only problem I had is the cats failed or broke up, so I ordered a Xpipe from Pypes and changed front brakes just not to have problems with calipers sticking!

When I swapped 3.27-3.73 in a 02 GT 5 speed I used to have it didn't really hurt the gas mileage that much if any. I'm considering 4.10's for my 04 Mach 1.

On my 1999 Boxste, I removed belt to install new water pump. On reinstallation of the belt, I noticed the AC pulley could rotate freely. Is this normal? Car has 40k miles.

Yes it is ok. There is a clutch. When the AC is off belt rotates the pulley but the clutch is disengaged. It keeps the compressor off, not rotating

If anybody new is watching this vid and is gonna do this job, make sure you jack all 4 tires for a trans fluid change cause when you fill it, it's gotta be level to make sure you drain it all out and get the correct level for filling.

So I heard they reliable in engine and transmisión but does small things break all the time because it’s vw? Like power window or some small stuff not working?

Haven't had any electrical issues or anything. The interior is poor quality though, the headliner is starting to sag, the fabric on the door panels is starting to peel, and the cushions in the seats are lopsided. However, the car still drives great.

Just an FYI. If you drop a nut, torx, bolt etc. into the engine bay, like me, try banging on the Underbody Shield. I heard, then saw my bit bouncing about and was able to fish it out with a telescopic magnet in a minute or two.
