This must be the most prophetic album ever made. Word by word, it applies to what we are currently experiencing and where things are headed.

Remember those days as if they were yesterday. My gut and hairstyle seem to have followed Jake burns over the years. Bye the way I’m sure I have a railway video that is narrated by the same guy in this show & I don’t mean Melvin Bragg!

I was lucky enough to See SLF back in 93 at The Barrowlands. It might not have been in there heyday but trust me that gig was absolutely amazing and the place went nuts for them. One of the most underrated bands ever long live Stiff Little Fingers 💥

Alternative Ulster. Stiff Little Fingers, what an immense time in Punk & British Rock that was. Rough Trade was an organisation much needed at the time....Good programme. Thanks for posting.

If want to hear how this album was supposed to sound then check out the bass channel. He plays the bass along to this album. It changes the album altogether. So much better. IMO. Might sound strange at first if you are used to no bass.

Along with Minor Threat, one of the two most inspirational bands ve ever seen Their first 3 studio albums are superb!! Was lucky enough to see them live here in NYC at a very small club called Trax on West 72nd St.on their first American tour. Saw the Undertones there too. Such GREAT GREAT punk bands..
