Fine margins I think…….we rolled over too easy against Arsenal and City….it felt like we were defeated before we kicked off…..great result at Utd but let’s not paper over the fact they gifted us two goals and it could have been very different. Striker required in Jan and decision required over Awoniyi as he looks lost. Mid table finish at best…..but that would be a massive improvement and I guess almost every NFFC fan would have been happy with this before a ball had been kicked.

With 4 weeks to go till everyone has played everyone, I think the best way to assess where we are at is to see how hard our next 4 fixtures are compared to the 7 teams right around us: If you weight difficulty of fixtures simply by how many points the opponents have so far, then we have the 4th easiest final run of those 8 teams. We are up against teams that (so far) have 82 points. Newcastle have the easiest run (up against 67 points) and will be above us by NYE. 100%. But only Bournemouth (73) and Brighton (79) also have “easier” runs than us. Tottenham (94), Fulham (95), Villa (96) and especially Brentford (109) have more “difficult” runs. Partly because 2 of them have to play the high-flying force of Nottingham Forest. I’m sure there are better ways to weight the difficulty of fixtures. If anyone knows please LMK :) COYR!!

The Newcastle Arsenal & City games were all down to the same thing, midfield. It we upgrade there we are top 6!!

Hi Matt, I enjoy the phone-in shows though I often miss out on stuff as it happens live. It might be an idea for you to give peaople a heads-up in the video before a phone-in, so that everyone can be primed to join in.
