Hello from Oregon! My house is about 2 miles from the highway, and it is on your route from Portland to the Oregon Coast.

It's awesome to hear that your house is conveniently located on my route from Portland to the Oregon Coast. If I have the chance to pass by in the future, I'll be sure to give you a wave! 🙂
I want to pursue a degree in computer science but I am currently enrolled in a business major. It is nearly impossible for me to transfer to cs or do a double major with the cs department. I still want to learn cs. Do you recommend me enroll in an online cs bachelors/associates degree program at another university or enroll in a coding bootcamp? Which one would be be more helpful in the long run? Thank you for your advice.
thank you for your reply. I am currently a freshman in college and I want to be a financial engineer or work in FinTech in the future. I have a lot of time right now because my course load isn’t very challenging. Which option(s) would you suggest I take?

@@qiuxing6555 I am not familiar with financial engineering. Based on the skills listed by ChatGPT, I suggest you have a minor in CS and a minor in Math. This might be better than a double major in finance and CS.

It is very hard to minor in cs at my school. I will be able to do a minor in math. Do you think I should pursue an online bachelors in cs or a bootcamp under my circumstances?

@@qiuxing6555It will be very challenging for you to attend the boot camp while studying full-time. Additionally, you may become rusty after a year if you don't actively apply the skills learned in the boot camp. If minoring in CS is difficult, consider taking individual CS programming courses such as Python, Data Structures, Databases, etc.
