Hello Dynaudio! I write music and do mixing. I want to buy a monitor for myself and I can't decide between two models. Please tell me, as far as I know, the amplitude-frequency response of the lyd7 and lyd8 are absolutely the same. Although usually 8-inch monitors have a wider range of low frequencies than 7-inch ones. Then what is the difference between the dynaudio lyd7 and lyd8? Do I understand correctly that a larger and heavier 8-inch speaker will not be able to reproduce the midrange as well as a lighter 7-inch speaker? Then what is the advantage of the 8-inch lyd8 model if it cannot give a lower resonant frequency compared to the lyd7 model? And one more question. What is the frequency response of the lyd7 and lyd8 at the level of +/- 3db?

Bought a pair of Core 59. Amazing sound. First monitor failed after 1 month. Sent it in for repair. Repair will take (at least) 2 months. If you want to earn money with these monitors, buy another brand. When changing sampling rate, it sometimes pops loudly. As said in the video, they wanted to make it "accessible". Another word for poor build quality??

Hi. Can you explain how to measure the diameter of a loudspeaker, because I think I'm lost. I bought Dynaudio LYD 7 and they have the same woofer diameter as the BM 5. Even measuring to the outer edge of the diaphragm mounting ring, the measurement shows 6.49 inches. Measuring the diameter of the speaker alone, I get 4.5 inches. Can you explain to me why the parameters include "7inch woofer"? Kind regards

But come on. AES. In my 15 years of the AIR-series, I think I have been able to use the digital inputs -1- once. Give it Dante or optical spdif, i don’t care but AES via XLR is and has been for a long, long time extremely obscure.

Hi Kenny, I have a pair of Dynaudio Air 15 and have problems storing presets. I want to have analog stereo on preset 1 and digital on preset 2. I put the set via Prefs into analog setup, go to File, click current, edit the name into analog and press store preset . Unfortunately the system won't take it. Do you have an ideaß Thanks in advance.

Just got a pair last weekend and I'm already considering returning them. They can get pretty noisy even when nothing is plugged in, and I can definitely hear white noise coming out of the tweeters at my normal listening position which is about 5 ft away. Looked through many forums/reviews and it turns out I'm not the only one bothered by the hiss and seems to be a LYD thing or design flaw. The noise floor just feels ridiculous for something this expensive (I was previously on Yamaha HS5s and they are way quieter)

I see that the Dynaudio 18S doesn't have a digital input. Does this mean that there is an extra conversion when using the DSP? I would like to avoid that if possible. Thanks!

The Core 59 is an amazing monitor, that upgraded my studio to levels I had never imagined... But they shouldn't be sold without the Core Sub.

I just bought this sub to Pair with my Dynaudio BM15A's, and it has not worked correctly. Buyer beware, I have reached out to DynAudio, but they do not reply back. Also, I have to do numerous factory resets for when the right side stops working, I did have a Dynaudio 9s, and it was a nice sub, I thought I go with this, seeing my room is 25' x 35', it might give more of what I need, but it has not yet worked correctly, I purchased from Vintage King and the only solution brings it back and we'll exchange it.I think I'm going back to the 9s, the DSP sounds like a good idea, but when it does not work, it is a real bummer
