I remember buying their album in 1984. Great stuff.

Im sure it took a little longer than wi we are seeing here, for Steve Perry to Calm Down and be able to sing. What a Punk-Ass Spineless move. Throughing a bottle at someone. They had to have caught the prick that did this 😡

The exact same thing happened to Steve Perry but with a wrist watch on the “Raised on Radio” tour.

Back up singers took singing lessons when Steve joined Journey and Harmony was worked on diligently. Beautiful harmony. Each member is excellent! 2024, I listen everyday. Steves new music is great! Mature and just as good!

I wish this MTV pro shot gig would get a formal remastered release. Can you imagine band members coming together and announcing live shows without knowing what "new" material was going to be played and then having the balls to record it live and put it out as an album. There was talk of a HSAS reunion featuring Hagar, Schon, Anthony and Smith (Chad). Still play this track regularly.

When you see Journey Schon incorporates pieces of this album into his guitar solo. It’s pretty sweet.

This band could literally come back on the scene right now and their music would be just as relevant. ❤ Makes me miss my childhood. Was so blessed to be born in 1971. 🤘

Remember hearing this song for the first time when i was in high school in the 80's and fell IN LOVE with it. Years later i was trying to find it. Kept singing it in my head until i finally went to every record store trying to find it..singing "dont turn your back, dont walk away..." and no one knew what song I was singing. 😂😂😂 Even told them that I was 99.9% SURE it was Sammy Hagar and the one guy told me he was a huge fan and never heard it. Thought i was CRAZY or had the artist mixed up until years later i met Sammy and he knew exactly what song i was singing! Also, i got to put my hands in his hair before he cut it off to donate it to 'Locks Of Love' live on The Tonight Show. Life is so strangely cool 😅❤😊 !

This was the beginning of a tremendous decade for good old Rodney. Everything he touched in the 80s turned to gold and he became a true movie star and leading man. I pay him respect and honor out on the lanes when I convert a tricky split and I say "It's a piece of cake!".

I was at the gig where Journey was the opening act for ELP. The crowd hated Fleishman so much that he caught a shoe in the face! Thrown from about 20 feet out. Too bad the record company forced them to get a frontman/singer.
