The perfect antidote to the current crop of generic, focus group generated, anonymous transportation appliances that modern automakers are foisting on the public today.

GT4 RS is the loudest car to sit inside and to drive in the best way possible. Truly an incredible machine.

Scrap that or convert it to Chevy small block!!!! You cant use any V12 HE Jaguar because they have india made heads and drop valve seats!!!!!!
@Plodalong-allday29 күн бұрын
Only if you’re negligent enough to allow them to overheat. V-12 Jaguars are very reliable and will reliably run for many miles when their owners faithfully maintain them just like every other car. Quoted from the XJ-S section of the Jag lovers forum. “Note that there are around 900 subscribers on this email list, and it seems that perhaps 20% have experienced overheating problems, but no more than 1% of them have experienced dropped valve seats.”

@Bazzookie11 күн бұрын
No, they don't, and there is no evidence to suggest that their heads were manufactured in India, let alone manufactured improperly. The Jaguar V12 was initially designed with motorsport in mind, it's built to rev, and all of them have the potential for valve seat failure, even the E-type. That hasn't stopped anyone from enjoying them, even racing them, and on top of that, the HE heads were designed by Michael May, a Swiss engineer and racing driver. Dropped valve seats are due to constant, regular, overheating, with an abrupt shut down of the car. High temperatures, and aggressive heat cycles, unseat the valves. You'll find that most valve seat issues are relegated to the United States where, in most places, the temperatures are harsher, and the people do not maintain their cars adequately, particularly in the past before classic cars had any real value. All classic British cars have cooling systems designed around British weather, they all struggle at 85+ degrees F, and usually require one to ensure the cooling system is always at its best or upgrade it. Many LBC owners upgrade their cars to electric fans with bigger radiators, and many XJS owners have upgraded the fans and radiators on their cars as well to combat the heat. XJS valve seats are virtually irrelevant in places like Britain and the rest of Europe. You're, quite literally, spamming every single XJS video on this platform with this nonsense. It's not only untrue, but there is also zero evidence to suggest that it may be.

It's a vintage V12. You will not find a single V12, of which the only notable road cars using them were Jaguars, Ferraris, and Lamborghinis, averaging above 10-14 mpg. These were 100+ thousand-dollar cars (in today's money), aimed at the highest rungs of society, and during a time when cars were more tools than collector's items. Vintage Ferraris, for example, and considering the cost of a new one, were virtually throw away items until the late 1980s, and more so during the 1990s. The people buying these cars new had little to no concern for fuel consumption, the cost of gas to them might as well have been a blip in their financials, and it's also why they struggled to sell in the 1970s.

I guess the Carrera D still sounds'Porsche though'.... And if you want to save maybe$100lb.. But for me the GT3 cars start 911. Has to be naturally aspirated. Shine rings you just don't need with...

I love GT3s so much. 118K is a really really good price for this. But knowing this is the 3.8 motor, I probably would rather get the 4 liter since the 3.8 can have engine issues

This car is a true masterpiece. Despite having such a harsh ride because its an RS, its so liveable for what it is. That sound and the driving dynamics puts you in a flow state, it just eggs you on to keep finding the limit.

Love the door handle sounds, exhaust sounds, start up sounds. I wanted to hear the seatbelt click, but all the white (highway background) made it feel more like a dealer inspired, salesman walk around - more than cinematic. Maybe some music to replace the loud white noise, but still keep all the car sounds. Your shortlist is on point with the angles and. Different shots, maybe just remove the shot of the whole person walking (that was kinda strange) lol.
