The freaking Portal reference in the first episode XD Okay I can understand why people dislike the way this show begins, but I personally really like how you get to see them make progress as fighters and as superheroes throughout the show, it makes them feel more realistic as characters when they aren't just absolutely OP right from the start and have to work for it. I also appreciate how there isn't a fight scene in literally every episode as well and there are other kinds of episodic plots mixed in. (especially considering that the fight scenes, especially in the later episodes, are nothing short of breathtaking)
