Man, we struggle with 10 to 15 man kumite for our green belt exams. This is insanely impressive. Osu !!

100 man kumite is all about fighting spirit. Matsui has shown himself to be the best I have seen. 60 they are all tired no matter how well prepared. 80 is a wall.

The Tensho kata has similar movements to the Siu Nim Tao of Wing Chun. We can really see the chinese influences in karate. I am only familiar with wing chun forms because I have practiced it in my highschool and college days for about five years. 27:45

wow some many morons in the comments.. obviously these guys aren't going out there to try and knock this guy out, they want him to succeed, they give him some resistance but at the end of the day, its not about 100 guys trying to beat up this 1 guy with all their might.

11:11 my favorite thing to do back when i used to do tournaments in kyokushin. Then you had to kneel down with your back to your opponent, waiting for him to be able to breathe again.

Why no headblows using punches? Just wear headgear and mouth piece. A complete hole in their fighting because of lack of punches to the face

I was wondering about Tekki as well. Although my sensei called it Nihanchin (or one of those variations). And it sounded like there was just the one rather than the three seen in other IKO’s videos. I can’t remember the whole form, but from what I remember it seems like we practiced a blend of the first and second form. I haven’t been able to find that version anywhere online (I live in Canada).
