You could have walked to the extra heavy stuff and then no explanation would be necessary….

We really enjoy buying from azure! Azure pickup day is the best day! So nice to feel stocked up. Been buying all the organic grains to mill flour. Very happy with everything so far🙂 have fun!!

Have your Jerusalem artichokes ever bloomed? Mine never have. I moved them to a better area, and they looked better but still never flowered. I deleted them this year. I have given up!

I have one flower on my Jerusalem artichokes in the front, but that's about it. It's my first year growing them.

This is such an exciting time of year! I like how you're trying so many different things, especially the lavender. I'm so curious to see how that grows.

It's cool you got a Gourd. I'm still pretty new to gardening. It's interesting how some plants can't take our summers, like cucamelons. I grew them last year and it was too hot to flower until fall and then it flowered and produced just very few fruits but we get cold pretty rapidly too so they didn't have time to do much. Did your Gourd get bigger. I have seed for that, not sure if it's worth it.

You have nettle!! Wow! I want to try that but I'm not sure how they perform in our heat. I will be watching to see how yours do. Also your Kohlrabi and other cruciferous look great.

I like what you're planting. I'm central valley, CA too. Zone 9a. I have Comfrey but I bought rootlets. I have never tried seed. They struggle in my heat and don't spread here like they do in milder climates. I grow them in part shade. I'm interested to see how your garden grows.
