I’ve been diagnosed with a plantar plate injury on my left foot. I’m having a hard time with taping and metatarsal pads that seem to make it worse instead of better. I was glad to find your videos on your experience.

I use this stuff on my technical clothing and Rucking gear. It’s crazy how well it works at not just removing the smell, but how soft and stretchy it is again, as well as soft to the touch.

They gave me 5 cortisone shots and about 8 alcohol injections for Morton’s neuroma (I was begging for surgery for 2 years) They never mentioned the possibility of plantar plate tear. They told me I had to run THEIR course of action before surgery. This went on for over 2 years. My toes started spreading and I asked about it and they blew me off (I thought it was because the neuroma was so big). They finally did surgery and almost 11 months later I can barely walk and my second toe is now more spread and raised off the floor. I believe they caused this through all the shots.

Listening to this a few days away from my half marathon challenge that I’ve barely trained for. Just makes me feel better! I’ll just do my best.

✌️ I just saw your video! I also have a partial tear of my Plantar Plate on my 2nd toe on my right foot…..it’s been 7 weeks in now….just from wear and tear, not an acute injury. I had an MRI which diagnosed this. I have a custom orthotic.I’ve been told this unique injury can take several weeks to several months to recover from. How you are good now ….5 years later!🙏 Thx for sharing!👍

Hello darling Iam From Chile I had and hyper extension of my 4 toe and I will for MRI this happen the 1st of December of 2021 and I have my area inmovilízed but trying to do exercises of picking up a towel but never trying to put my toe up any tips please this injury is so frustrating

Hello I’ve been diagnosed with a plantar plate strain and found your videos very inspirational, thank you. Thank you for week 1 when you played the violin too because I really related to that!!! I’ve struggled with some of the same things you have as far as trusting my doctor, being pushed into surgery, getting second *and third!* opinions. I would LOVE to chat with you about how long your recovery took. How long before you could walk without pain again. How long to run again. Where did you get the rack for the medals?

Got diagnosed with a partial planter plate tear over 12 months ago. Initially I was given steroids to numb the pain I guess and I was advised I could return back to work. Now over 12 months down the track, I am still not able to stand for long periods of time, walking is extremely painful and running is totally out of the question. Due to the Covid situation, I'm not able to see a specialist and I feel like I will never be able to do the things I used to do ever.

Can I ask which corral you started in? I love that you were able to stop for character photos. This princess weekend 2022 will be my first run and I'm worried about not getting swept so I wasn't planning to stop for photos.
