Prepare apple...cut apple...serve 😂. Classic ❤❤❤. Such precise measurements, Rabbi, you need to be receive a Michelin star 🌟 or maybe a Magan Dovid 🤔 (pun intended 😂). There is a Michelin star 🌟 chef who gives homecook recipes that can be used without too many changes. He always says "measure carefully" and guestimates. He also says, "if you don't like (insert ingredient), doesn't matter, don't use. It's your recipe". And, "if you don't have (insert ingredient), don't worry, you can leave it out, doesn't matter. It's your recipe" 😂. So the Rabbi is well on his way to receiving his well deserved Michelin star 🌟. On a more serious note. Thank you, Rabbi for your recipes. Please, sincerely please, publish a cookbook. Never mind the Michelin star recipes inside (JOKE for all those who are NOT sure), but for the priceless title ❤❤❤! It would help to have these timeless, classic recipes in 1 book. Thank you, Rabbi. Unity is so vital to remember and work on, especially because of the focus on the individual. Now I understand why Dr. Seuss's book, Horton hears a who, for the first time 😂😂😂. Seriously I could NEVER understand the story. They say that crazy people, children, and animals have prophecy, maybe they also have Ruach HaKodesh when they write 🤔😂. I hope this inspires everyone to pray and unite and share their unique AND indispensable contributions this year. Be blessed with a good, sweet year.

Finally a quote from The Eagles 😂. Joking! Finally, thank you, Rabbi, for explaining what men are supposed to be doing when they leave in the middle of the night ❤. It is very interesting, but a great resource for boys and those men who have no idea what they are supposed to be saying because they had no teacher. This is on behalf of those who turn to ME for help when I too have NO idea. Now I know and can point others to this VERY important resource that the Rabbi has created. Sincerely thank you, Rabbi.

It might Interest you regarding the yekkish minhag. We say all the little paragraphs with no skips. We also have a really long Selichos for about 1.5 hrs on Erev YK. There are also a few nuances regarding the order of Selichos and what is said. For example, we start with Adon Olam and not ashrei.

Long time listener!! Thank you for your weekly chizuk and entertainment. Can you talk about self esteem and any ways to achieve it from a Torah perspective.
@mhm92267Ай бұрын
Regarding OTD, my experience with them is that many (if not most) went of the derech because to Rebbes or teachers that turned them off. Schools very often focus on negatives instead of positive. We need to build them and their self esteem. Often Yeshivahs focus on how well your gemorah skills are, but not everybody is a scholar and they too need to understand where their greatness lies. Also, schools need to be more proactive on firing bad mechanchim. I know of cases were the Rebbe is hitting the kids or worse, molesting kids and the schools do not fire them. This is a huge problem.

If you have a "news" podcast, I would appreciate it if gave the news from a purely Torah perspective. I wouldn't be interested in hearing "state secrets" or about political infighting.

Thank goodness there is reward for showing up, but I think that is why I (and probably most people listening) listen to Rabbi Orolofski. It is so appreciated that Rabbi Orolofski deals with these burning questions. May you have many more questions to answer Rabbi. If you want a few more feel free to ask, I have plenty questions. I was wondering about Shma and the difference between the beginnings. So thank you, Rabbi for answering at least 1 question. Interesting how 4 always tends to be a hidden 5th part 🤔.

Thanks to the person who asked for your name to dovin for your health. I too will add your name to my tefillah list. The transcript shows the Rav's name as D H Ben s Mira...which is actually Dovid Tzvi Hersch ben Sarah Mira.

14:40 One also has to read the right words. 20:05 מחדש בכל יום מעשה בראשית. Thank you. I had previously been basing the source on וקונה הכל. That is even better. Time travel is technically possible if we ask Hashem to recreate the world as it was in a moment in the past except for one specific current state. It would still be the future, but a future recreation of the past. But just because Hashem can do anything, it doesn't mean that is how He runs the world.

Interesting that the concept The Rav is explaining applies to everyone, but where we learn this in the Torah this concept is only directed to men.🤔
