There were always pauses when L asked J if he still agrees to Lucky being the father he wanted to raise his son L would always say back to square one. She did not read him well at all. He would have kept her safe if she had trusted him all the way. I think the writers were focussed on creating a character they only Becky could play. There were so many facets to their scripts and she was as flexible as their pens or whatever you use now.

First off, love all the actors! And second, honestly I hate Sam during this. She judges Elizabeth because she lied but the only reason Jake is around is because Jason found her and Ric together, same night Elizabeth found Lucky and Maxie together. So Elizabeth turned to Jason and that’s how Jake happened. Lucky and Sam don’t have the high ground for this in my opinion. Yes, everything Elizabeth did after wasn’t right but Lucky and Sam acted like such victims, it annoys me so much

When you went to Liz to taunt her about Jake being gone. About not allowing them to show him on her tv show. When she didn’t say anything for days that he was missing. And on and on. Her character was horrible

Looking back watching this scene I just have to say that “regardless of the Liz/Jason, Sam/Jason as well as the Liz/Lucky, Sam/Lucky fans/shippers, Liz is the only person to blame here. She was the person whom forced Jason to lie to Sam and everyone else especially Lucky because of her selfish reasons, Liz knew that eventually the truth would in-fact come out, she knew that would definitely come, however she continued to play it up. Liz didn’t think about whom it would eventually wind up hurting all she thought about was indeed herself. So therefore Sam was 100% totally correct and when she told Liz that it was her faults and she was the one ☝️ who originally created this mess, Jason didn’t even say a word. Jason stood there and couldn’t even look at Liz, that is because he himself knew that everything Sam said was indeed nothing more than the absolute truth. 😊
