I don’t know how to use that fishing pole. The last time I tried, I ended up having to buy a new one. What did you do to make yours? Be able to catch a fish
@SaltwaterHorizonsFishing10 күн бұрын
Did the rod break or the line break? An ultralite rod is designed for smaller fish. I have it setup with 10lb braid and a 15lb flouro leader for inshore saltwater fish

Why is you able to fish with that type of pole but when I got to get my chance to turn around and use it, it does not work

@SaltwaterHorizonsFishing oh nvm then lol looked like one of the ones I fish at in south florida. Maybe those little macks will make their way down here, right now we just have 15 pound jacks, and cero and spanish macks, maybe like 5 a day on the entire pier. But they're close 8-9 pounds atleast.

While it's live you can? Slice open both sides gills. It'll bleed out rather fast. Word of caution if it's dripping through the pier it WILL attract sharks. Might piss off others,or just live with blood ice chest. It will clean up the meat
@SaltwaterHorizonsFishing19 күн бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! I did bleed it out in a bucket of water before putting it in the cooler. Good point about attracting the sharks

Very weak spot on the majority of kayaks . Plastic to plastic connection inside scupper not made to have load placed on them .

I haven’t noticed any problems with it. The bottom of my kayak is pretty flat in that area so the weight is not only on the scupper holes. If it causes any issue I’ll be sure to follow up on it but I think it will be okay. Appreciate the comment!
