The GOOD the BAD and the UGLY: the Good: its fun to play, has a million variations on how to play, exciting areas to explore, and most importantly can be played with up to 3 players in Coop (friends or public matches with other players) and aid them in completing their main Campaign or you do your Campaign and have others help you beat the Boss, etc. . The BAD : like most games it can be kind of grindy. THE UGLY: the worst thing is the game fails to direct you to where to go to complete objectives, when you clear an area and look at the map it will show all the Doors to other areas but even after completing clearing the other areas, you NEVER find the objective icon show up, or if it shows the objective Icon for an area when you start there there is no objective icon on the map (that has been cleared and explored) so you dont know what is required to do and where you are required to go to finish the objective to be able to advance. I have read numerous comments where people have spent hours trying to figure out where and what needs doing, and that is un-acceptable. In some areas like Losomn where you kill all the enemies and can run thru the area and never find more enemies, other areas like the wasteland on Nerud the game just keeps spawning flying robots to shoot at you even though you have killed a 100 of them in that same area and are just exploring to see if you missed some hidden access point to get to the next area. TIP: when you start your first region you cant access other regions until you finish the boss in your region and are sent to the Labyrinth region and finish that boss and then have access to other regions thru certain gateway doors. BUT: when you join a Host's coop game and the host is doing a different region you can pick up items from that region (all rings/amulets/relics/etc.) which only exist in that region. The last region is Root Earth and there you get the final Boss and finish the game. You can start a new Campaign on NG+. Also this game has tons of difficult to figure out puzzles that give lots of special loot, so look up KZbin shows that help figure out the puzzles. Then there is the unique stuff available only to people that have the DLC's. Some of the more powerful archetypes are only available to those that have a DLC, along with some rings and amulets and weapons if you were wondering what they are running. I also notice a lot of players that are 10 core power running with only 3 Relic health boosters and maybe don't know that Wallace for 1K scrap will sell them an extra Relic, so I don't see any excuse for not having 5 relics relatively early in your game as survival is most important and if you are healing others with 1 of your Relics then you would only have 2 left, if running with 3 and during Boss fights that would be an issue. When I run the Challenger class (whose perk is a 1 time regeneration of health and saving a death) I also use the ring that grants a 1 time avoidance of death (giving a chance to rise up and take a Relic to restore your health before dying again). You can purchase that ring in Ward 13. Survival is key.

Ya I should have talked to the Laemir first, but I did get to talk to him after it was over. This fight is brutal with the constant spawning of enemies. I hope this shows the power of enigma pistol, for close range enemies and flyers, gotten in the Labyrinth region, and the amazing destructive power of the Firestorm mod (gotten from killing the Dreamweaver in Losomn). There is more info in the section under the video. Solo is hard in this game and it was designed for coop IMHO. Its amazing I never died and finished with the 3 Relic health boosters I started with. I used the lvl 5 challenger as my main and the lvl 10 Handler as my secondary. I failed to use any of the skills available to me also.

I hope this guide helps those who feel that this boss is the most BS boss in Remnant 2 and there are many who feel this way, and others who claim they beat it in 30 seconds (ya not solo, but with friends or so experienced they are speed running it). The ranged attacks are brutal and there is nothing you can do about them, sure you can move away when the floating dark blobs attack comes your way or shoot them (but that takes away from hitting white lights on the cubes). This was done on survivor difficulty and took an actual 1 min 14 seconds (I slowed time to allow for more commentary during the fight. To see where one white light on a cube, can be shot before doing this boss fight watch GamePillar's Labyrinth walkthru at 8:15 and shooting the cube's light at 9:00. This eliminates having to get to the opposite side of the maze and get the block going back and forth at the backside of this arena. This is a big help as its easy to figure out the pattern for the left front block (the first one), and the 2 blocks after you pass thru to the right side but getting to the back is another learning curve. Also after completing the Labyrinth (except for beating the Bastion (tried a dozen times, gave up, ran past it got the spear melee weapon and jumped down the hole to escape) and I hit it with the firestorm mod and having it lose 1/2 its health, I still got decimated.

The surge 2 is a hack/n/slash and a very challenging game, but far easier for those who have experience with this type of game. All fights are going to involve 2 types of gameplay, 1) facing off and doing a parry on the enemies first attack or 2) taunting them, getting close and dodging out just before the first attack, waiting for their attack to cease and jumping in and getting a few hits or doing a charged attack when jumping in (evasion). Its best to learn how the parry system works as it's not required, against street enemies but IS necessary for most of the bosses. The parry system works by 1) holding the left upper trigger/bumper (block) and lower trigger (crouch) and just before the enemy attack will hit you, pushing the right joystick as far as possible in the direction the hit is coming from (shown by the implant (directional block analyser). Watch my beginners guide at the end as it shows the parry system. When done perfectly your white eyebrow displays green, if you got a block instead its yellow or white and if you failed to block it at all its red (you took full damage). The problem is that there are prolly more that a dozen different enemies with different attack speeds and number of swings and so one has to adapt to the attack speeds and know the number of attacks and style of attacks to successfully parry them and that takes a LOT OF PRACTICE. With boss fights, the weapons that are most effective are generally the fast attack style and I like Ezra Shields punching gloves (after his boss fight) and the Gaia Spear or Peacemaker electrical staff (early game) for their ability to have farther reach like with Little Johnny. FuzzyBearbarian's channel has guides on defeating all the bosses and are excellent.

PARRY INFORMATION : IF you are solely interested in my advice on using Parry in this game go to 12:58 Then to see it more clearly go into the settings and slow the youtube speed down to 1/2 speed and its clear exactly when the staff comes up to block the incoming hit. Slow time at 14:07 if you really want to see the spear come up use KZbin's .5 speed to really slow it down. Just remember the block/crouch has to be set a second before the parry is used, then wait for the strike and just slightly prior to the strike hitting you move the joystick all the way in the direction of the parry desired. If done right you get the green (sometimes you get the parry but no green color but the Boss' shield goes down showing it was a good parry) if its on a regular enemy they turn and are stunned if done right. There are a number of implants that increase the damage or give increased battery or health after getting a successful parry. The directional block analyzer is helpful but once you get used to it, not necessary. I have seen guys use evasion and dodging to win boss fights but... I have tried it and never had any luck not using the parry in concert with dodging away from an initial attack to avoid getting hit. Fuzzy Bearbarian's channel has great advice on Boss fight tactics. Also Boomstick Gaming's video on SURGE 2 weapons, has an excellent guide on what combo attacks for each weapon style, so watch it and practice the combo's for better results.

I like this game alot however it is rage quit worthy as it only has 1 difficulty level and its win or no progression. Its a hack and slash and the only other experience I personally have with this genre is I played about 20 hours of DMC (Devil May Cry) and this game has a lot more limited combo attacks (3 or 4 button pushes). I also had such a difficulty getting the parry to work and it is required in the Boss fights of which there are 10? plus all the difficult sections to get thru. I love Cyberpunk and this game has a Cyberpunk (exo-suit, sci fi) vibe to it. I got it on sale from steam for $6 and quite enjoy the game play and layout of the city, opening up doors to make short cuts back to the respawn points (which are Med bays). Its one of those things where its a somewhat linear progression and if you come across 25 enemies before accessing the next spawn point and die, you can either do it all over again or run past the enemies to get to where you died, but if the previous enemies chase after you and you are facing the guys that just killed you, you are dead as the worst is facing multiple enemies at the same time. when you die you drop your tech scrap (earned from killing enemies), (the commodity used to level up, purchase items, craft items, etc.). This game rewards aggressive gameplay because you only develop battery power by get hits on enemies and it takes a battery to convert to a health booster, but if you get hit more than you hit them you end up dead. The only advantage you have is really your superior agility to dodge and run faster than they do. If you watch gameplay and it looks interesting to you, you may enjoy getting good at this game, but it is a real challenge. When I watched a youtubers presentation on this game where he stated he had 6 hours into a single boss fight before winning, I felt his pain, I know what he is talking about, and unless you were experienced with the hack/N/slash game style (Souls/Elden Ring/ Bloodborn, etc. (which I am not), then I get why it would take a long time to adapt. If you decide to get this game I hope this guide will get you to a point of winning more than losing. Once you finish you can start New Game+ only its not like all the other games I have where NG+ is a huge advantage, you are threatened by new enemies and higher level enemies in the same progression of the 1st game, so it is more of a challenge IMHO. The techno-genesis splitters are a real P.I.T.A.

Why regular start? Never said a reason. I just finished game plus dlc. I want to start a new character. Would it make sense for me to start in Phantom Liberty?
@gamersanonymous4me1314 ай бұрын
The problem with going direct to phantom liberty is that they start you at lvl 15 with $2K and a selection of green guns, 71 points in Cyberware Capacity and if you know your way around you can do better than the standard issue at lvl 15 in all catagories, but worse you will be entering DTown and saving Meyers with very little armor, very little Cyberware, etc. They have to lower the difficulty alot to be able to take out the Chimera and get thru the Barghest at Meyers plane without having much higher level equipment/Cyberware, ...not that its not possible but it wont be the same experience you would get starting from a normal start and waiting till your level 40 before entering Dtown. I am quite advanced and can enter Dtown at lvl 31 and do quite well on Hard or Very Hard difficulty (watch my GrimReaper build videos on taking out MaxTac at lvl 35). The game will adjust the difficulty to your playstyle (if you demolish guys they will ramp up the difficulty to make it more interesting for you, while if you are getting killed over and over they decrease the difficulty till you win. Its just my opinion and if your itching to explore Dtown then you can jump in there but the experience is not the same IMHO if done at low levels. Since the game is designed to take on Adam Smasher (and Dtown can be as just as hard) at high levels would you jump into taking on Smasher at lvl 15 and have a fun experience?

What I didn’t realize and slightly regret was the total loss of the beginning story. That part was the largest downside of starting a new character at Dtown. You were correct about Chimera and it was rough. I did manage to get it on my 2nd try. I was using only knives and ended up giving that up for this one fight hehe. @gamersanonymous4me1317 ай бұрын
You need a graphics card, it has to have the correct drivers installed for it, the game has to launch, the graphics card has to have the HDMI cable or? cable plugged into the monitor or Tv. There are lots of reasons why you dont see graphics, but I assume your other games work fine and you get graphics on them? SO...the game should give graphics if you meet the minimum requirements and everything is hooked up right.

Thumbs down! Not a beginners guide. Explains nothing beginners can understand. Not to mention it isn't even a gameplay guide mostly. It's clearly a guide on how to cheat.
@gamersanonymous4me1318 ай бұрын
Sorry dude but its not cheating unless you install a mod system that allows you to something the game does not allow you to do. Anyone on console cannot mod their game and "gift" themselves anything they want, but using exploits is something that game allows you to do and the fact that CDPR did everything in its power to stop being able to use the exploits shows that they were part of the game even if not intended to by by CDPR. If you as a player wishes to not use exploits nothing is forcing you to do so, play without them, for those that wish to use them that is their choice and to call them cheaters is rediculous.
@exceligence8 ай бұрын
@@gamersanonymous4me131 Completely false. It is 100% cheating. And not a guide for beginners. And you even admit not intended design of the game. And an exploit. And your claim about choosing to cheat or not has no relevance to anything. Who cares if you choose to use mods or other cheats? That doesn't change the fact that it's cheating either way. So what does claiming your choice have to do with anything. Yes you can choose to cheat or not to.

@@exceligence Apparently you have trouble reading english because I never said people can choose to "cheat" or not, they can choose to use exploits that the game allows you to employ or not. Cheating is when you an advantage over others and Cyberpunk is not a PVP game so you cannot get an advantage over others but if you went into your teachers office and copied the test questions then you would have an advantage over your classmates and that is cheating. If you want to see my total beginners guide to 2.1 without exploits you can watch it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXq6gquBqd6fars

I said from the start it is cheating and they have the choice if they want to use exploits to cheat or not. The end. Which was not the point anyway. The point was that the guide is for cheating. Cyberware/loadout/Attributes/Perks shown at 13:52. Tips for beating Maxtac/NCPD: First you have to be able to beat NCPD after 5 stars, and when the Maxtac buzzer sounds (warning imminent drop) you should NOT have 0 health boosters or its trouble), so if you have 0 or 1 health booster you can run off a couple blocks away out of sight, and they will send more cars/trucks and then drop there (sometimes Mantis or Assault or Sniper will chase you down and find you but not often). Next find a build that is good enough to beat Adam Smasher (the premiere Boss fight) in 2.1, watch videos and pay attention to the weapons used as these will also be effective against Maxtac. Of course if the Adam Smasher hero is lvl 60 you may not be able to match them at lvl 40 or 50. Next, Maxtac wont drop untill you kill enough NCPD and even then sometimes wont drop even though you already killed 70 NCPD (like here), so run off a couple blocks and then they will drop. After Maxtac drops its best to kill at least 2 at the drop, run off, and you will always contend with 4 of them, there is always a Netrunner, always a Sniper, mostly a Mantisblade, and then you will get an Assulter (who is the only Maxtac that can regen their health) or a Heavy Gunner as the fourth. The Heavy gunner has double the health of the others and takes a long time to flatline BUT...he is slow moving and running off ends the confrontation until he walks over to you (by which time the Berserk should be good to go again. IF you watch at 10:45 you can see MantisChick's red dot (on the minimap) coming up at Sandy speeds and near killing me but a ProLaucher blast in her face stopped that, or I could have turned Berserk on. SO...keep an eye on the minimap for red dots, and especially red dots that move abnormally fast. IF you run off far enough it seems Mantis gets tired and will only fast walk in your direction. Mantis is the most likely to kill you, so try to kill her at drop, but sniper is also likely to kill you if she hits you AND...you have low health (like 180) as her 1 shot will kill you even if you have 2 health boosters, but...if she stands near you and gets that shimmering look she will stand still as shown and you can keep shooting her until shes dead. So Sniper really close is not a threat but sniper at a distance is, or if sniper is close but no shimmering she can shoot you but ProLauncher hits work on her but dont in shimmering mode. Netrunner is the easiest to kill without using Berserk so save them for last because the next drop can come almost immediately after kill the last Maxtac and not having Berserk makes killing them at the drop impossible. Tactics : learn the area you plan to use for the confrontation, all the back alleys, streets, places to get cover in, etc. as you will be benefited by knowing the area, so you dont go down any streets/alleys with no escape route. At the drop I kill MantisBlade first,... finishers do more damage so use them every time they are offered. If you look close you will see that the Byakko Katana is true to form and the attack speed near doubles after the first kill (watch at 12:39 after Mantis is killed Katana speed goes way up), although its damage goes down also, but it does stun them while being hacked up. I make use of the 100% stun chance of the Electrical Projectile Launcher to be able to finish them off, if there is only the Netrunner and maybe the Sniper left at the drop site, while dealing with the Heavy Gunner. Also I have video footage showing my Biomonitor failed to work, and I died having 3 boosters and my health decreased slowly (not a sniper shot or melee attack) from getting hit to lower than 25% and the Biomonitor didn't use a booster. I close the game and restart and the Biomonitor is fixed. I save the Netrunner for last as they dont bother me in general as with ICE cyberware their quick hacks dont effect me most of the time, but If I see a System Collapse then I either kill the guy the Netrunner is using as a proxy or run far enough away and it fails. Lastly If...I blow up endless carloads of NCPD they ramp up the difficulty by sending hordes of NCPD and I will be engaged with 20-30 red dots on the minimap and it will get significantly harder, so blowing up a few cars is better from my experience and killing the others 1 at a time or decreasing the horde with a rocket works. If you notice the Shock &Awe cyberware really saves the day as the group NCPD fights have its electrical emp damage going off but only when you are being shot and hit, and when it does it kills mulitiple NCPD when up close. At 10:15 I screwed up and hit Berserk and then mistakenly hit the key to stop Berserk (way before it ran out at the drop), which is why I ran off when I saw the health booster/rocket/berserk icons (lower left) show up. Hope these tips help you in your adventures to take on Maxtac.

The projectile launcher can either be a big dissapointment or the most powerful weapon in the game. To make it powerful Fextralife shows all aspects :kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqOnfoCYZ9SVaaM The only thing is I found the Electrical version was way better than the Standard PL (his recommendation). If you do all the same perks I used in Pyromania (Tech skill tree) and most importantly have been to Dogtown (Phantom Liberty) and gotten 8 Relic perks (I get the 5 free ones with no combat, easily) just look on KZbin for their locations, then you are set to spam the Projectile launcher. All my cyberware is tested for best effect and having all slots filled gives great bonuses. If not using the Katana then I wouldn't use Stabber or Stamina booster. This Katana build can easily become more powerful because the Byakko is at 5+ and with 200 Gold component It could be 5++ and do more damage per swing, and also the ProLauncher could go to 5++ and the armor cyberware could go to 5++, which would be possible if a ton more gold components were aquired. You will notice my Satara DB2 never runs out of ammo cause the max 200 will take out 100 guys @ 2 per guy (it will 1 shot guys at close range easily) whereas forget it with SMGs and 900 rnds. Of course the Monowire/Katana-knives/GorillaArms/Mantis blades/Blunt Weapons/Projectile Launcher dont use ammo. For close quarters massive battles like this I dont believe Netrunner is suited as well as this build, but for NCPD gigs, Fixer Gigs and Boss fights it is IMHO. I played Netrunner for the first couple of years CP was out, and then switched to Sandevistan, and now switched to Berserk (Sandys were nerfed bigtime in 2.1).

@gamersanonymous4me1318 ай бұрын
True... My favorite Kiroshi is the "clairvoyant" as it gives you a wall hack (sees enemys thru walls) but it costs 8 CWC (CyberWareCapacity). Every CWC point is precious to me. Every piece of Cyberware has been tested and this build is the most effective for me and my playstyle. Its like using the blood pump is worse than the maxdoc untill the blood pump gets to 5++ and then its close to the health boost of the Maxdoc but exceeds the Max doc if... you dont use the health booster again for the full 6 seconds that it takes to get the added 17 Health per sec that the Blood pump gives, but...does it really make a difference as you have to sacrifice Stamina booster or Heal on Kill 'cause I am not giving up my Biomoniter, ever. I tested microrotors with 4 iconic Katanas and found it didn't help, so it went bye-bye, whereas Stamina Booster (watching the yellow stamina bar) did make a easily identifiable difference in the yellow stamina bar being higher.

NCPD must have a God level recruiter to have that many men to be able to throw at V. And just imagine being the sorry sod that's watching an unkillable, God level cyberpsycho murder his way to you through the ranks of your friends. At that point, self-preservation would kick in for me and even I'd fuckin' go home.

imstead of sprinting and jumping just dodge forward and jump then repeat, soon as u land dodge forward and jump again its faster
@gamersanonymous4me1319 ай бұрын
Using Fortified Ankles instead of Double Jump legs (it works and gets 80 more armor and costs 2 less CWC- and can work much better at lvl 10 when I first get the legs): For longer jumps, I sprint/Dash/fully charged jump. The dash and charged jump release has to happen almost simultaneously. This gets lots of height and distance, but its just as quick to sprint/Dash/lightly charged jump, you just cover alot of ground without getting the height. You can use AirDash with this but, I dont find it necessary and the perk points (2 more) are too precious and I would rather put them in other areas. Dodge only works if standing still so while it does increase forward speed, its not as effective as sprint/Dash at getting more forward speed prior to charged jump. Your feet have to be on the ground to use Charged jump, as it wont jump while in the air (bunny hop) whereas Double jump will.

The stats for CYberware/Loadout/Perks are @ 13:40 This video demonstates how leveling up and increasing your damage/armor/abilities, makes you more invulnerable. At level 35 ( I can last forever against Maxtac ...IF...I am careful and run off to heal up before entering battle). At level 38, I have acquired more gold components and upgraded the Byakko to 5++ instead of 5+ (took 200 gold) and it appears I can kill Maxtac at the drop quicker, In addition my Biodyne Berserk is 5++ lowering the cooldown from 5+ @ 40seconds, to 35 seconds, which helps. Also alot of my cyberware is 5 and 5+ (especially armor slots) giving me about 100 more armor which helps lessen the damage from their bullets, etc. The most noticeable thing to me, is while at level 35 I got down to 0 health boosters (near dead) multiple time during heavy interaction with dozens of NCPD or with Maxtac,, in this video I never got down to 0 and only got down to 1 health booster, serveral times during the 13 minute battle, where I counted approximately 220 NCPD got killed and 4 Maxtac drops got killed, in a couple I nearly killed all of them at the drop, compared to level 35 where I was lucky to kill MantisBlade chic at the drop and maybe 1 more. I believe most of the power of any Character tree comes with reaching 15 in that tree with the exception of Tech, where getting Edgerunner is required. So..if you wished to put points into Intelligence or Cool and switch playstyles, then that is easily possible as this shows that 20 Tech/15 Reflexes/15 Body is a beast of a build. Just leveling up gets you more Cyberware Capacity and at higher levels no matter what build, you can add the iconic Dogtown Cyberware and increase your powers. This also relies heavily on farming Gangers to get gold components and since you dont start getting them till lvl 33 and it takes 800+, its not easy to do that.

This video shows the power of the Projectile Launcher but, its best to use it more sparingly, as they ramp up the amount of cars coming to insane levels, so I now use it much less and just kill the NCPD coming out of the car with the Byakko Katana, and they send a lot less cars and therefor you end up with less NCPD. Its best to clear out the NCPD where the drop zone because I will take damage from them while fighting Maxtac, and the worst position to be in is to have the Berserk go off and have 0 health boosters. I also find the Maxdoc better than using the BloodPump as I would rather have the Stamina Booster in that slot. I have a video where I counted killing 170 NCPD at 5 stars before I got the first Maxtac Drop. So.... the programming is ...wierd? Other times I hit the first drop in 1 minute after I shoot a cop on the street and go from 2 stars to 5 stars and Maxtac dropping. prolly killed 35 NCPD in blown up cars and shotgun or Katana kills to get the 1st drop. Dealing with all Maxtac at the drop is like taking on 4 or 5 mini-bosses. They can take a ton of damage before dying, so I focus solely on MantisBlade chic as she is the most likely to kill me. In the initial drops they send 4 Maxtac usually and later 5. The Assault guy is the only one who can regenerate health, I have gotten him down to 8% at the drop and run off and faced him 2 minutes later, he was at 96% health, how disappointing. At lvl 35 with the loadout shown, if careful its fairly easy to survive forever but...you have to be careful and watch the health boosters and also if you use edibles (food and soda) increase health by 5% and regen stamina in 2.1 the game removes your health booster and you cant re-install the Bloodpump unless you go to a ripper, while you can add the Maxdoc back in after it is removed anywhere. The health box and Stamina booster that lasts for 30 minutes does not remove the health booster slot and gives you 10% more health instead of 5% for the food/soda edibles. I love doing the 5 Star/Maxtac battles and its the most challenging combat in the game and with all the new bonus's in 2.0+ versions, I can become the Doom Guy, vastly increased movement ability and use totally overpowered weapon choices. Often they hide where the last Maxtac (Netrunner) is as his red dot wont show up (he usually hangs out near where the drop occurred, but sometimes he moves quite a distance away, and his red dot will show as glimering and not solid. IF you cant find him and stay in the same area, you wont get a new drop but if you run off a couple blocks away and start destroying NCPD there, they will start a new drop to that location and after 3 drops they will get sneaky and drop maxtac far enough away that I cant rocket them because I dont know where they are, and 1 time they hit the ground before the end of the first warning sound, instead of usually its like 3 warning buzzers before they hit the ground. Have fun honing your skills and if you can do this, then there is never anything V can fear in NC or Dtown. Become a true cyberpsycho the maxtac cyberpsycho's fear. I have watched them drop on the spot with 15 NCPD bodies dead on the ground and with the previous Maxtac guys dead there, they are dedicated.

From 2 stars (kill 1 NCPD) to 5 stars + Maxtac 1st Drop, was 1:05 minutes. This build requires Phantom Liberty Relic perks for Projectile Launcher to be able to be spammed and fire 5 rockets and count as 1 rocket and with pyromania perks instantly recharges the 1 shot used. The Satara Tech Shotgun does well at 1 shotting guys at close range and works at mid range also and with ChainLightning you have a chance to kill 3 with 1 Bolt shot, while the Katana is king at groups of NCPD or Maxtac that are close to each other within 8 feet making use of Shock&Awe emp bursts, but you have to watch your stamina dropping to nothing (blade slows way down). The Nekomata is best for long range, but isn't used much. And to do an homage to DoomGuy, you can get the free iconic CutOMatic Xmod 2 (chainsaw blade) for the 3rd weapon slot, unfortunately the finisher doesn't show cutting the guys head or legs off with it anymore in 2.1. Getting the Skill tree perks is essential and filling the Cyberware slots completely to get Chaos (15% less cooldown) and Extended Warranty in Tech tree (15% extended use of cyberware) helps alot and I tested them and...yup they both work as advertised, so my Berserk gets an extra 2 sec of on time and 4-5 seconds reduction in cool down time. Tips for beating Maxtac: 1st goal is to kill Mantis chick as she is the most likely to kill me with her heavy Sandy charge, and blade attacks (if you run off far enough she wont chase without slowing down (getting tired?) but a 1/2 block away will find you getting sliced up before you can turn around, watch the red dot chasing you). In order to kill Maxtac I have to stun them with the ProLauncher at the drop the instant the first hits the ground as they will run off ASAP if I dont. I can hit multiple Maxtac if they are all bunched together at the drop, but if not I still go for the MantisBlade. Next I have to watch the end point for the Berserk and run off the moment before it runs out or...I may have 0 health boosters if I take alot of damage while fighting with them (you cant go below 25% health but...your health boosters will activate at 50% so they will get used), and get killed (happens especially if I charge into them with only 1 booster or less initially). I did get into danger here, when I got down to 0 health boosters, and when I took out the Heavy (not realizing he was the last, usually its the netrunner who is last) and they dropped a second later and I had no Berserk to use. I have had numerous fights where my Biomonitor stopped working and I died with 2 health boosters and no Maxtac near me (yes I have video evidence), or my ProLauncher stops working, in these cases I bug out, close the game down and restart and its fixed. This is by far the most difficult combat in Cyberpunk or Phantom Liberty, so if you can beat Maxtac no other gig will be difficult, NCPD gigs usually have civvies hanging around so I cant use the ProLauncher without killing eveyone and getting a Star if that matters to you. I can use the Cyberdeck and Reboot Optics with the Shotgun or Katana in these cases or be careful not to shoot or blade gangers with civvies right next to them, and I always get a Tetronic Rippler tier 4 deck at the first Terra Cognita Air drop I go do, as soon as I leave the safehouse (where Meyers is staying) as its easy to run over to the elevator and take it up to Terra Cognita. I also put the 3 Relic points from SoMi into the Jail Break Relic perk and when going thru the Stadium I go get the free Relic point there to get Override before saving Meyers on Space force 1, and have the ability to spam rockets at that point. Later I go collect 4 more relic perks in Dtown and get weak point perks before coming back to NC to continue the main game at lvl 33 (in this particular playthru stats) and start collecting more Gold components (need like 600).

Just finished this past two weeks of grinding through this mission I got a 18x chain on round 13 And I believe a few 12s and 10s Also some decent lower number ones as well. This mission you did excellent to start out but I recommend not taking out single enemies and always go for multiple. Study the spawn in points and you become stronger with chain killing. Well knockouts to get the most points. Also using all stealth outfit besides the pants, switch to 4E ones and they allow you to carry more ammo for the crossbow to knockout enemies. Just got the high score few minutes ago on a five hour stream.😎

This Cyberpunk video shows Maxtac can be beaten at level 25 on Hard difficulty (2 drops) and survive, using the Biodyne Berserk/Projectile Launcher/Scalpel Katana/SataraDB2 tech shotgun with 20 in Tech tree , Reflexes at 15, and Body at 4, Intelligence at 4, Cool at 3. From 2 stars NCPD to Maxtac drop in 1 min. , 16 seconds. Of course its not on Very Hard difficulty where it would take more damage to kill the NCPD and Maxtac and at low levels they run away from you more and dont charge you collectively, also there are 4 Maxtac instead of 5 (the Heavy is missing, although other lvl 25 drops I have done, has included Heavy). The gameplay is a bit smoother with my new R7 5700X CPU undervolted (replacing a R5 3500 (6C/6T) version of R5 3600), and hitting over max 4600Mhz (hits 4650) and my XFX rx 5700 GPU undervolted and hitting 5700XT frequencies (over 1900), upscaled from 1080 to 1440, and FSR quality running. The stats are at 6:17 for inventory/Cyberware/Skill tree/Progression rewards. This is my GrimReaper build showing in other videos (and changes in the weapons used at higher level like here at level 25 compared to early game weapons and netrunner Reboot Optics used at lower levels, watch my level 20 action doing the Abandoned Megatower NCPD gig in Santa Domingo shown here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2mTkqiCo9GMeq8 Tactics: To beat Maxtac and NCPD at lower levels you have to watch your health booster levels and when it gets down to 0 you have to jump out and go far away from the action, and wait to get at least 1 and preferably 2 or 3 health boosters and hopefully get the Berserk ready to be used. I have to kill MantisBlade chic at the drop or she will chase after me if I dont jump out far enough away ( couple of blocks) and her blade will one shot me at low booster/health. The sniper will also kill me as her 1 shot will drop my booster level by 2, so if I have 1, I am dead unless she is in the shimmering mode and then she stands still and I can end her with the SataraDB2. Sometimes my Biomonitor will be glitched out and I can have 2 health boosters and be insta-killed (which if it was working I cant die with 2 health boosters) so I close out the game and it is fixed to work again. You may have noticed the NCPD glitched standing above the ground, I hit them with the shotgun and they fall to the ground but if trying to Katana them its hit or miss. I have a good chance of dying if I dont hop out the moment my Berserk is about to go off as often my health boosters will be at 0 from all the damage I took fighting NCPD, before turning on Berserk during the Maxtac drop fight. The last thing is that I have to be near enough to projectile launch (100% stun chance) them at the drop before they separate and spread out from the drop zone, and the first few drops they tend to drop within the vicinity of where you are when you first hear the warning sound, but after a few drops they get smart and drop far enough away that they dont show up on the minimap and by the time you figure out where they dropped its too late, so you are better off running off and engaging NCPD a few blocks away and they will drop again or...Mantis chic and Assault guy will find you and you can deal with them 1v1 but its hard to deal with both or more of them together. Also you can see I dont have airdash but can do a psuedo airdash with fortified ankles and Dash. The other thing is that this playthrough involved farming gangers almost exclusively which gave me much higher Solo and Engineering from using the Satara Shotgun and I acquired alot more CWC shards from them so my CWC is at 206 instead of around 171 without farming allowing me to add more armor (861) and I acquired a ton of purple components from certain NCPD gigs that gave me the opportunity to ramp up my cyberware to purple in most of it. This would be impossible without farming. There is no comparison between the ease of doing this at lvl 40, or lvl 35, and lvl 25. At lvl 35 I have the Relic perks (from PHantom Liberty), and can spam blowing up cars, I have the Byakko Katana which does 2 things the Scalple doesn't do, leap attacks, and increased swing speed, then theres the much better cyberware (most is same but its upgraded to higher levels) and while the NCPD and Maxtac are less agressive at 25, the insane action doesn't flow like at lvl 35 because I can easily get killed wading into 10 NCPD and trying to Katana all of them whereas lvl 35, piece of cake.

This video shows most of the aspects and abilitys needed to master Cyberpunk that may not be obvious for a beginning player. I recommend you pause the video to read the text included as it has extra information. You start off with 21 Attribute points (3 in each skill tree and 7 you can assign), 21 Cyberware Capacity, (get 3 more with each level up) and 0 perk points (get 1 with each level up), when you level up you get 1 attribute point, 1 perk point and 3 CWC, I forgot to include how to make money, and other tips, so here: Quick Hacking and Health levels: We start with a tier 1 Cyberdeck and 3 Quick Hacks (Overheat - best combat damage quickhack, Short Circuit (good for mechs/drones), and Reboot Optics (blinds for short time-good to stun and stop fast movers and make gangers not be able to shoot back and make them still to be shot at). To take down gangers line up gun sights on ganger and you will see 1 yellow bar, 2 yellow bars or three yellow bars and a yellow skull over their heads indicatiing how much health they have. If you hit a 1 bar ganger with overheat, in the early game he will flatline, later with a green deck and green overheat he may hang on by a thread, I like to use a silenced NUE or Tamura pistol (higher damage pistols) with a silencer to finish them off rather than use precious ram to hit them again. Usually a high damage pistol with the same color Taipan silencer with down a 1 bar enemy with 1 shot, 2 bars 2-3 shots (first shot out of combat, then in combat), and Skull forget it. TO MAKE MONEY : there are only certain ways to do this. 1) you can sell white weapons ($600+ each) at a drop box or under "trade" at a rippers, 2) you can complete NCPD gigs for $, and completing Fixer GIgs makes even more $ , 3) you can make $400+ by cracking all 3 lines of code at data terminals (quickhacking), 4) alot of dead civvies and gangers, will have limited $ you can collect, safes you come across have significant $, and certain junk items sell for $500 each so NEVER disassemble them. I make money selling all white tier 1 guns at drop boxes and never disassemble them, instead I gain white Tier 1 components from disassembling trash items or picking them up from loot boxes and enemies sometimes have them and after the initial search to acquire 225, I just pick them up at areas I go to, and no longer search them out and get plenty that way. I pick which colored guns to use for my loadout and disassemble all extra colored weapons always. My first money comes from picking the weapons in my inventory I will use (guilotine and Carnage or Igla Shotgun and third slot will go to the Dying Night Iconic pistol recieved (free) at the Gunstore on the way down to meet Jackie) after which I swap weapons I pick up that I like better. If I continue past the gun store, up the stairs there is a purse with $700 and I sell all the guns and melee weapons from the stash and get around $3K+ (lvl 2). I get free bike before meeting Dex, Meet Dex, then go collect trash items to upgrade Deck (75) and Craft Satara shotgun (150 white crafted to 30 Green), then start farming to pick up weapons to sell for Cash and complete Monster Hunt (Regina Jones 1st mission) at level 4 to hack the 15 soda machines and terminals to get quick hack crafting specs and green crafting components to craft the quick hacks( &get $ and items from safe, etc.). Do 2nd, and 3rd, R.J. gig save Lucy Thakery, more $, weapons, hack more terminals. Looking at my lvl 5+68% (to see go INventory>Stats), game save I have done 3 R.J. gigs, own 13 Cyberware items and still have around $20K. So...its not impossible to make enough money and get all you want... if you dont buy Weapons at the gunstore and Med items, etc. My Game save @ lvl 19 shows I have 29 Cyberware (some gotten free in loot boxes) items and $169K in money, have completed 11 R.Jones Gigs, and farmed a ton of gangers. I dont pay off Vik until level 20 as I like giving Vik my business when purchasing the new Cyberware available @ lvl 20 (if I have enough before hand- need approx $140K+), as there is no advantage in paying off VIK until I have excess $ and have bought all cyberware from other rippers and crafting specs for gun I want (Blue Satara DB2 @lvl 17), and grenades (I switch to Projectile Launcher at level 20, and transfer grenade perks to other areas). My GrimReaper Build is shown in use at lvl 20 at the abandoned Megatower in SantoDomingo and you can watch it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2mTkqiCo9GMeq8 It has a description of the Attribute investment and perk investment and Cyberware used. It depends heavily on acquiring component to upgrade cyberware, as I buy the cyberware at the earliest time because its much cheaper and use components to upgrade it, rather than waiting till I have room and ability to install it and purchase it for a triple the $. I buy Shock & Awe in white Tier 1 before level 9 (at 10 in can only be purchased in Green, at 20 in can only be purchased in Blue). Example: White Shock & Awe cyberware costs $7007, purple costs $43612, so quite a difference, to not have to use components (gotten free by grinding farmed weapons and loot boxes) and that is about the same for all cyberware. I dont buy the Projectile Launcher until lvl 20 (blue) however but you could buy it Green you just couldn't get the benefit of using it because it requires more perk points to get DoomLauncher perk to be useful and by lvl 20 I have enough excess $ and I have the necessary perk points to make it effective. Of course I know the cyberware I want and dont want, which a first time player cant know unless he is following a build guide that shows it. Always buy the low CyberwareCapacity (CWC) items to use as filler to fill every slot when its cheapest (white) if its 6 CWC or less (later in Tech a perk decrease cyberware Capacity requirement by 20% so it will only cost 5 CWC, (shock & Awe goes down from 25 CWC to 20 with this perk. The filler cyberware allows me to use the Chaos perk giving a 15% reduction in Cyberware cooldown IF... all slots are filled. By lvl 30+ I have excess money, but I never buy cars or weapons from gun dealers (only crafting specs).

@gamersanonymous4me13110 ай бұрын
It varies, as the game kind of matches their abilitys to yours, so the MaxTac you see at level 30 will be much less aggressive and easier to kill than the MaxTac at lvl 60. BUT....they will step up their game... if you wont go down, and become more aggressive and the NCPD you notice is much more populated (more guys). I have watched lots of MaxTac fights and rarely can count 9 NCPD on the minimap whereas I was getting like 15, endless carloads rushing in, so it depends on how bad they want to give you a challenge. As a rule though, on Hard instead of Very Hard, they are much easier to kill.
