@@Convictedoutlaw1320this is in BJJ. Head Scissors is an illegal move at all youth levels. It’s even illegal at the adult level in some competitions including IBJJF

Yeah. Definitely forbidden in Kids divisions but also forbidden at all levels at alot of tournaments.

@@babb7591 mainly to just reduce injury’s. Legs are strong, neck is vulnerable and weak. Must have the arm too in order for it to be legal. There is also a similar rule in wrestling. With headlocks in wrestling you must also have an arm.

True. Illegal move however, hence why I said try. The try refers to attempting it as a submission, the fail comes from the ref stopping it.

@TheKevinClarkson Lol, but tbh out of video games and etc, wrestling isn't superior, any martial art style that concludes attacking and etc is actually better, if you are fighting in the street, you wouldn't just push down someone with a knife Lol, he would just stab you with the first grapple you do while any martial art with attacks, you will kick or punch and dodge the knife Wrestling is OK if ya want to learn to make someone stop grappling or attacking you but for self defense in a real fight, it wouldn't be that much helpful

It’s clear you don’t have a lot of knowledge on fighting and martial arts. You are attempting to use your common sense, so it’s easy make a blind case such as yours. But in MMA, which literally brings all martial arts together, wrestling dominates. All martial arts are vulnerable against weapons. But even with that, wrestling is the best against weapons. The only case I could make for a striking martial arts would be its effectiveness against multiple attackers. Because against multiple attackers, keeping distance and keeping it on the feet is the most effective. Other than that, wrestling is king. It’s not even a debate, this is backed up by tons of research and data. What martial art do you think is superior? (Please don’t say Krav Maga)

@@mrrokiisboredwith a knife, wrestlers have dominant wrist control. A wrestler and attempt to “dodge a knife” in the same manner as a striker. Get wrist control, immobilize the weapon, and take control of where the fight goes from there. What martial art do you do?
