While it looks fantastic, I would say something is not quite right. It wasn't throwing snow very far even it it's wet snow. If you had the rpm's wide open, then I would advise an impellor improvement by adding rubber to reduce gaps. It helped mine in wet and dry snow. It threw it farther and doesn't plug up.

I’ve got a 60” plow blade and a 48” snowblower, so I wouldn’t really use the loader in the winter. I have done some light ground engaging projects with it though. Used it to level off an area for the kids trampoline. The toothbar makes it all happen with that. Without it, it’s a battle.

The dealer put it on the first time because the blower was on back order, so I didn’t put on the 4 points of connection to the frame, but I have left them on and removed the cab every season and reinstalled. Finally found a video of snowblowing on a slope! Seems like every one I have seen is someone blowing a flat driveway with a 2 wheel drive. I've been trying to decide between a 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive for our driveway which runs 8 to 12 degree slope. I thought yours was a 2 wheel drive at first but then realized it was AWD. I have no use for a tractor other than snowblowing so I am hoping to find a used older one that I don't have 15K wrapped in just to use several times a year. I use a side by side with a plow and a Ariens walk behind for 130 yard long drive but I'm not getting any younger!

The end of my driveway is the worst but it handles it no problem. I take the tractor out to do snow removal and there is this one driveway that must be 30-35 degrees, and it does well going straight up and down. There is a lot of power in this machine to handle most things you got on a typical property. The 4wheel drive, tires, and weight work really well in these conditions.

@jonah3273 жыл бұрын
I liked the fact that it had more support being attached to the engine mount frame along with the front hitch. Had more of a traditional feel for a loader. What I don’t like is that the bars you connect to the engine mount scratch your hood!! I was pretty pissed off about that. I don’t see any way in the design to avoid it. So now I have a scarred hood on each side forever. I didn’t like the little bucks loader having all the weight on the far front axle and how far in front the bucket is when extended. @@beunbad I know the feeling. I always keep wanting to go bigger but I had to settle myself down and realize what purpose it would be used for most of the time. The 1025R will cut grass, but not as nice as the x700’s. But it can come with a better and stronger loader than the x700 will with the aftermarket brands. Also, comes with the 3pt hitch. By the time you add that all up, you could have the 1025r. Another plus to the x700’s besides the cut quality is the stability on slopes. The 1025 sits a bit higher which may be an issue. So, do you sacrifice cut quality for attachability and power? Tough call.
