Probably my favorite scene in "Love, Actually". Hugh Grant might laugh at me and ask me "Why ...?". All I would say back to him with total confidence is: "Because, I like YOU just the way you are". 😊. Hinting at Colin Firth line from Bridget Jones's Diary. Mr. Grant; you are a timeless actor, brilliant, handsome and witty. (( Honestly; I wanted my future husband to have your spark of personality and sense of humor. )). Ladies: Can you imagine being married to Hugh Grant or Colin Firth ...? Hope these two men are as fun as they seem on screen. 😊

This was the moment Death felt understood for the first time. She summarized his character. Charismatic, intelligent and powerful yet so alone.

As an adult I understand this so much. When it’s over, it’s over. Sometimes they get us to stay and it’s a cycle.

Bedroom scenes of hers make me cry, such an actress! This one and the other is when she is begging Marianne not to leave her in Sense and Sensitivity. I loose it every.single.time I see one of these

He’s acting, and the love in his eyes. He deserves a grammy on this. I love looking at his eyes on the movie and it’s very romantic

Woah sounds like the relationship I had. I seen him pulling away few years ago. I’d ask him and he’d reassured me every time. Eventually I started to pull away. Then we’d talk it out and I told myself to trust him and not pull away anymore. He told me to believe and have faith in him. So I truly did start to depend on him. Big mistake turns out he never wanted to get back together. He was just afraid to break up. When it gets to this point were there is no effort on the other person don’t believe their words just walk away.

This might be a throw away movie for a lot of people but i watched this as a kid and it stuck with me. I think its one of the reasons im so obsessed with relationship dynamics and i survive my psychology degree i will likely specialise in couples therapy.
