Congratulations bro, amazing video I would love to see more of that. Especially where you actually train for it. I have the Copenhagen Ironman in 20 days. I’ve trained for 10 months and I’m gonna be 18 years old and 2 days on race day. Again huge congratulations man, well done. And a phenomenal time considering you haven’t trained much for it

The great journey in doing an Iron man or any other endurance sport is the training season. The day of the event is just another day, the day that you have been waiting for.

The dedication and performance is impressive. As shown in the video, your commitment to quality training is impressive. You don't need to devalue your feat with a clickbait title. You didn't do an ironman with no training.

Is 9 months of training 5-6 days per week enough time to train for an ironman?? Longest run would be 32kms, a lot of swim training done also.

Everyone who ever did a half oder full distance triathlon knows, that this is fake. There is no way, for anyone, without any training, to complete a long distance triathlon, especially not in 14,5hours and not with running into the finish line. It can be done in 5 months of training, but not without serious amount of previous endurance training, especially run or bike training. All those videos on the internet with similar accomplishments don't mention, that there was serious training, at least 2 years before this "start" of the ironman training. Folks, don't let this fool you. Tommy Butler, you said you did your 3rd ever run 5 months before the ironman. This can't be true, and no matter what proof you throw at me, it doesn't matter. It's wrong and doesn't change the fact, that it is. This has nothing to do with fitness, or willpower or talent. This is about physics. You can't overcome physics. Greetings.

he literally did 1 run that was 7 miles and that was it. Yes, he did probably a months worth of pool training and maybe 4 or 5 long bikerides. This is KZbin people you gotta do what u gotta do to get clicks. No training sounds way better than limited training.

This is insane. I trained two full years for my first Ironman and I had all the right equipment. Got injured a million times training for it and I finished in 13 hours. Of course I’m not 18 so my body is more fragile but still… unbelievable. I did my first marathon without training (at all) at 22 and I got injured for life. Still paying the price today. What you did was both as amazing as risky!
