I used a Neutrino 600 and it was perfect. I think there was only one night that I needed to wear long bottoms & a long sleeved top. In the UK, in sub-zero, I open it up like a quilt when we go camping.

The only thing I would change is my mindset in preparation for Mera. I had spoken to several people who had done the Everest base camp trek and had expected their level of 'luxury' (porcelain toilets, showers, and sealed buildings). However, the foothills towards Mera are basic farmhouses without any of the above. It was my expectation difference that was the hardest thing to overcome. I highly recommend 360 Expedition for the trek.

@@BradleyHoward Thank, we will love the level of "luxury". We were a bit disappointed with the trek around Annapurnas, where shower and toilet are almost a matter of course in the lodges. And the jeeps and motorbikes everywhere...By the way, during the EBC trek we had a hot shower only in Namche, so we know what we are getting into. And by the way, I watched your videos and we were on Kilimanjaro the same year. We did the Machame Route with overnight stays in tents, so we're not made of porcelain. We had a good experience with HimalayanWonders in Nepal, we will go with them again. But thanks for the recommendation.

@PetrNemecek_CZ we didn't see a car for 3 weeks in the Himalayas. We saw a single motorbike. We saw a lot of helicopters though!
