The Jumpstompers
This is the channel of the Jumpstompers ,a Blues Rhythm trio from Italy, Three blues lovers who perform classic post-war blues, early RnB, swing, jump blues and black rock'n'roll, with authentic vintage sound !!The Jumpstompers is a Blues Rhythm Trio featuring Francesco Colombi on guitar and vocal, Fabio Fioravante on bass and Mauro Crugnola on drums.
Since many years, the guitar style of Francesco Colombi is strongly influenced and inspired by the sound of the guitar players and bands of the 40s & 50s like Charlie Christian, Tiny Grimes, Bill Jennings, T.Bone Walker , PeeWee Crayton , Ike Turner, Johnny “Guitar” Watson, Eddie “Guitar Slim” Jones, Earl King, the three Kings ( B.B. , Albert and Freddie) and many many others
Their repertoire is based on a fabolous mix of obscure classic “post-war” blues, early Rhythm’n’Blues, Swing, Jump blues , black Rock’n’roll and everything in between.
They try to recreate all that sound in a small combo situation like a Trio, paying attention a
