@bossfhockey how would you compare these sticks which 2023 Y1 LBX to the Project Noir. Currently using the LBX but maybe getting hands on the Noir from a friend that ordered both Proto’s but didn’t use.

Yo Boss Hockey I am a 14 Year Old Hockey player. I am on the A team for my school. I really need a new hockey stick as the one i have right now is wooden and has a ripped grip. My fam aren't in the best position and i don't want to give up the sport. Could you hook me up with a 50 percent please.

damn those dragflicks are nice, ordered a nemesis 70 and its coming tomorrow, I just want to be able to still hit hard with it, do you think it is possible to still do so with a lower carbon stick?
@BossFHockey2 ай бұрын
You can still hit hard with a lower carbon stick, the stiffness of a stick transfers the swing power to the ball, a slightly lower carbon stick will just transfer a slightly lower amount of the power so it's a little bit harder to hit the ball harder but it is still possible.

Would you recommend a y1 Lbx or the Osaka pro tour 100 low bow(bare in mind I have never tried the Osaka one before ).

Would depend on how you play

I am currently using the 2022/2023 version of the y1 lbx And I play as a flexible player mostly midfield/attack I would also like to know which one you prefer for flicking/hitting/dribbling/passing ,feel and power and which one you find more all rounded and comfortable to use maybe even which one you play better with. It would help a lot

I am just asking as I want to know if there is any advantage or preference for the Osaka over the y1 as I can’t really try Osaka sticks cause I’m in the uk It would also be nice to tell me which company you generally prefer. Thanks for the videos and your help

@@Hakam-q9j One Sport Warehouse in the UK stock osaka now and have a practice area. I really like both Osaka and Y1, I think the Osaka probably hits a little harder but The Y1 is better for flicking. If you are already using the Y1 what is making you consider changing?

what stick/stick bow would you recommend for a quite advanced player (about kent team level) who is 15. If it helps I play everywhere really (prefer up front) and most of the time I just do one drag and "drive the baseline" . I also want a stick with good power, and sometimes use 3d skill, but not too often.

What do you like and dislike about it?
@frankshush5 ай бұрын
@@BossFHockey nothing I super dislike, it is a bit used (2 yrs so I might just get another as a backup and to experiment), I am not sure if I would perform better with a different bow and sometimes I feel like it has little power, but recently my hits are very strong so it was probably me lol. Also I feel like the bow is not as steep as I expected but that could be good or bad idk. The thing is, I had an otter stick (the blue really low bow one) and it was unusable(literally) in like 1 month so I never got to try a low(er) bow stick than mine for very long. I did like it at the time, but I never had to play defence back then either, and I am not sure how my priorities may have changed. Wanted to know if it would be useful to get a lower bow or mid bow, and how hard it is to hit low with a low bow too - can you get used to it pretty easily? Is there any point getting a low bow for someone like me?
@BossFHockey5 ай бұрын
A lower bow would help with 3d skills, it's fairly easy to adapt to a slightly lower bow, probably only takes a session or 2. You can hit powerfully low once you have adapted

Do you clip hit usually or just normal? Also how do you control your shots better and get power because I can rarely hit high on command and in general my hits can lack power sometimes
@BossFHockey5 ай бұрын
Tend to high normally more. I only really hit shots at goal or clearances. The other points are all down to technique, there're a few places you can look for tutorial videos like Hertzberger TV
