MMA, is the present. Kung fu is the past. It worked perfectly then, 300-500 years ago. It still works today. It saved me. Ali, and Sugar Ray, made an art of boxing. Kung fu lost to the rifles in the Boxer Rebellion. MMA, would lose too. If you think that it is silly, then leave it to others that appreciate heritage. Like an old rusty knife, it can still kill.

When the battle was over, the top officers of the losing army would become monks, to save their heads. They brought their martial arts, especially weapon styles with them. To change the subject, many masters took up kung fu, because they were sickly as a child.

@@ShaolinLT я другое мнение про 80-е имею и считаю, что то поколение мастеров боевых искусств было настоящими мастерами, то есть у них были корни и фундамент и глубокое знание, а сейчас всего полно в информационном поле, но настоящих мало, есть только поверхностные

Допустим об Андрее Парцевском, который в той передаче показывал Нань Цюань нигде никакой информации, нет видео, только в той программе, но смотря на него, его исполнение южного кулака, видно, как он вкладывает душу в выполнение техники

Most of the techniques are not apply to really fight. Just like aikido, it is idealistic.
