I just changed mine. Took bike off stands to lean, waited and its leaking coolant. What did I do wrong? Did I get a faulty part. All bolts are flush. What i Do see is the part that enters the bike with the big O ring does not go in fully when i look under the bike, is that how its supposed to be??
@RotaryandRides3 күн бұрын
@daekwon9650 hey, the only thing I can think of other than it being a faulty part is the shaft on the water pump has not engaged properly with the mating component inside the engine or there could be grit or something that's prevented it from engaging fully. It's hard to give you an answer without seeing the bike in person, I hope you get this issue sorted

I would like this to be my first bike. Any advice on what I should be prepared for?
@RotaryandRides5 күн бұрын
@tyrelldeclay6955 Hey, I have another video for you to watch, which mentions having this as a first bike, so I'll put the link below for you. The main thing with these bikes is battery issues, so get yourself a decent one from Moore speed racing or something. Also, the ABS light likes to come on randomly at times, but just turn the bike off and back on, and when pull away, it will go back off. Rear suspension is very stiff! You can make slight adjustments to make it better, which I did and just left it as it was, but you can, of course, get better upgrades if needed. Other than that, it's good as it is from factory tbh. Things like tyre upgrades are worth doing too in the future. (Seprate video for that, too) kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6HEomqcapaeeNUsi=r6uI5ePjwHuBv8OH
Doesn't feel right putting a massive V8 in an '86 - however if it's being used for drifting like this is, it's got so much torque and will last forever.
@RotaryandRides13 күн бұрын
@andyknowles666 yeah exactly that, honestly the set up works so well in this car for drifting and it's also a very unique build compared to what other drifters have 👍

Hi I have a toyota aygo 2007, and I want to change the spark plugs, which model do you recommend? I've read that the Denso iridium 1KH16TT are good but I'm not sure
@RotaryandRides15 күн бұрын
@esmaelai3452 hey, yes, they are a really good choice or NGK too. When you get them you may need to unscrew a metal cap that's on the top of each spark plug and then you can fit them following the same steps as I did 👍
@turbekoloelefant5 күн бұрын
Denso IKH16TT Iridium TT works best on my 107 (2007).

I'm in the market for a scout bobber and noticed that you've sold yours!
@RotaryandRides19 күн бұрын
Hey, Yes I literally sold mine a few weeks ago to a nice chap in Christchurch area, I'm absolutely gutted tbh. He loved it and gave me full asking price because it was so clean with all the extras already installed! The only reason I sold it is because I'm in the middle of getting on the property ladder finally and the house I've found is right at the top end of my budget which means of course higher deposit is needed and the solicitor fees and furniture needed is on top too. That bike was really something special to own and I will be looking to get another one in the future once things settle back down but I still have a sports bike which hopefully should be able to stay at least. I really hope you find the right bike for you and when you do get one, you won't regret it!

Challenge; flush and/or change the servo fluid..? I have a 2007 1.3 and seems there is no reservoir but two valves directly in the pipes, one near the torpedo (low level) and one in a cutout just beside the too of the radiator (“hi level”). I know the 2008=> has Electric power steering, and seems like this difference varies from market to market. Looks like speciel tools might be needed. Can’t find any info on this 😞 help appreciated

What's the oil Capacity for this engine if I want to fill it halfway and not up to the Max?
@RotaryandRidesАй бұрын
@mrsaul3709 Hello, if you mean your oil is currently measuring half way on the dip stick then I would recommend you buy a 1L tub of oil and just keep topping it up slowly until the dipstick reading shows it's on the max line 👍

@RotaryandRidesАй бұрын

@RotaryandRidesАй бұрын
@__alves_ because you don't know for sure when they were last changed and it rules out any issues they may occur if they fail. The car will run lumpy if any of them fail anyway but I personally like to change everything I can to new each year to prevent any issues occurring at all

Ive read that the 180 would be narrow as a 150 after install because of the rim width. Would you mind measuring it ?
@RotaryandRidesАй бұрын
@colinmos definitely isn't narrow bud and it makes a big difference I find to the handling. You will notice visually straight away that it's wider than the150 tyre as soon as its swapped out to a 180.
