Way way back in the 200000 20005 my big bro took me to a nickelback concert the band asked everybody to bounce I stared bouncing I couldn’t t even move my legs so I told my big bro to get. A security gard to get a wheelchair and wheel me out of there

Oh they're out there but it seems to have migrated to more aggressive stuff. Pantera brought a good one. When I saw hatebreed last at Blue ridge a couple years ago it was probably 30 feet wide and packed. But I don't generally see real intense pits outside of death metal or deathcore, they tend to rile up the crowd into moshing, or even direct a wall of death lol (after the burial)
