Thats a very good explanation of indicator diagram and the process, only thing missed in the procedure is drawing atmospheric line, it was asked to me during my orals and surveyor wanted to hear that first I will draw atmospheric line

I think doing test with oil is more dangerous as it is not a clean method which can lead to spillage and leakages if any cracks. Usually it's done with nitrogen gas, i guess.

Why didnt you start the sperator motor earlier so that it reaches running rpm by the time you cold have opened the valves, as the feed pump is not attached with vertical shaft? Is there any particular setting or is it just that you did it for explanation purpose?

If small holes continuously drain, water and moisture will be drained; no need to open every 15 minutes! But as I know unloader opens timely to drain moisture and water.

Pressure test carried out in my ship at 5 bars at pipe duct / duct keel level. In bunker manifold the pressure was 2.4 Bars only because we have to consider the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid (there is about 28 meters column from Duct Keel to Bunker Manifold). I will appreciate your comments in this respect.
