Hi please what is the full set up (Saxophone, Mouthpiece Model and reed) of the Lady Honkertz featured later in the Video. I already have your Jazz Soloist Marble Model but want to know the model(s) used by the lady in the Clip. Please respond

Nice tone, phrasing and technique. Playing almost 60 yrs, funny thing. You can change your mpc but unless you learn to breath and support (long tones and scales kids) you won't make much if any change in your tone. Spend the time first then the money. Most of us sound close to the same regardless of mpc. It all goes to breathing.

Thank you for the comparison of these mouthpieces. I like the Soloist...it seems to have a softer warmer tone to me. Because it IS a soprano saxophone, it will have a tendency to be shrill...but the Soloist seems to give it just a touch of warmth that is needed to give the soprano a little bit of body.

Love your sound, which tip size opening and reed strength are you using? Btw, I own this mpc with an 8* tip, still experimenting to find my reed combo but I really love it so far!

...hey man what's going on. Yeah swell peice yeah, and you have one, within an 8# opening. Very good and you do play with a proper "lip-out" Jazz embouchure I hope, because if you're a pillow biter " lip-over classical " player then you're cannibalising your sound and with a peice this nice that would be a crime. I played a 9# STM NY with a 3.5 reed for years, now I blow a 7# with either a 2 or 2.5 reef. Never had so much volume, clarity AND control. (the change over was tough..!!) SIRVALORSAX and Get your sax together are two sights worth checking out if you really are interested in finding yourself in the music... Have a great day.
