M51 should un ironically go up cause it would face more early ifv's that it can overpressure and super heavy tanks amd mbt's that are often very cramped leading to the lackluster post pen damage being less noticable

Yeah, an IS-3 or IS-4M is in fact easier to kill than a Tiger II H or Ferdinand.

@@kimjanek646 when you have a 400mm of pen 105 mm heat round then yes literally you can reliably oneshot the is3 or is4 by just shooting center mass now try and do this against a tiger or a ferdinand

Excluding the jumbo this is actually my best sherman haha I love this thing, so much fun. Not sure if you can do it still but you could get like 6+ spawns out of this thing because backups reset the reserve spawns.

This tank is one of my favorite money printing machine. When I need to get 100K I play this thing and I easily get it in 1 game... And i'm not considering myself as a very good player.

i will die on the hill that vehicles who's only redeeming factor is high pen are not good, and i find them particularly unfun. For example, the ikv 103, sav 1946 (the 2.7 with 240mm pen heat), the conway, the archer( at least it does decent damage), and of course the m51.

Is the first 2 seconds of flight a smokeless motor, or did gaijin mess up some visuals? Actually that doesn't make sense. Smokless or not it would show up on thermals.

The ATGM has 2 stages the first stage (launch) is an explosive charge like the HE shell, after a few seconds the ATGM engages the rocket motor to keep flying.

it is surprisingly tanky from the front against auto cannan apfsds if they don't purposefully aim for the turret. the upper plate is auto bounce against even main gun apfsds while the lower plate is covered by the massive power plant.
