2hollis creates things that have never been heard before and has a vocal range and style that no one else has. It's a prejudice just because he goes in that direction. There are a lot of SoundCloud rappers who just use presets and KZbin beats. He is the exact opposite and does everything himself. The sound is just there to feel it.

clearly this guy hasnt listened to hollis that deeply. while hes not wrong about the tonal similarities to other artists, hollis has plently of vocal treatment effects that are very identifiably his own, from vocal chops to mixing in his adlibs, its something obviously his.

He’s got this enigmatic aura to his music that feels appropriate for a producer that is a product of the internet, a place where identities are often difficult to pin point due to its inherent synthetic nature and transcendence of physical reality
