We use the Round 5/0 brush that comes in our kits. It's made by Princeton Brush! Cleaning and reshaping it often with your fingers while in use is the key! Hope that's helpful.

If you told me just four hours ago that I’d be YouTubing how-to for brush strokes and then mistakes in part 3. I’m 30yo and my younger sister bought a few kits and asked me to help (was in a car accident recently, so she’s being nice lol) Now I just went from “I know how to do this… duh” immediately to “ohhhh boy! Hi there - We've never attempted to sell already painted canvases. They're really intended to be enjoyed as a project, so I think it might be difficult to sell already painted canvases at a price that would make sense for all the work you have into painting the kits, but those are just my two cents! :-)

How do you mix different color paint - how are the two colors measured and transfered to a seperate jar?

Hi there. Our kits don't require you to mix any colors together. They come with the exact paint colors needed to complete the painting. You can use them directly from the plastic paint pots they come in. Hope that's helpful.

Is there any way of getting rid of paint in an unwanted area once dried

Hi Simone! Once dry the unwanted paint can be painted over with the correct color. If it's on an area that shouldn't be painted at all (like our pre-printed background), you can still try using a wet cotton swab to loosen and remove the dried paint. It may remove a little bit of the background inks in the process, so go lightly at first to test it out. If worse comes to worse you get a small bit of inexpensive acrylic paint at the craft store that matches the background color to patch over the dry paint. Hope that's helpful!

So when you're creating a color value chart how much paint do I use. Is it just for a visual so you know what color it should be or is it to have enough paint to actually use for the project?

Hi Cindi. All of our Elle Crée kits come with enough pre-mixed paint to complete your project. No mixing required. Hope that answers your question!
