I'm surprised you didn't go for giving Astarion up to the Gur in Act 1. Regardless one's feelings towards his character, I think its a truly vile thing to do to him when he's just found his freedom.

One thing confuses me. I believe that we see about 5 different time lines that we see. Note the drawing of the dogs. It was a dog in the remake drawn on the walls. When Zack survived a chips bag was flying in the wind with a different breed of dog. Then during the date the lady selling candies has a bag of chips with a third breed of dog. Biggs before dying is eating chips from a bag with 4th different breed of dog drawn. Then Zack outside the church sees Johnny running with a plush of that dog but it is a 5th different breed. I don't think those are just different flavours of the same chips factory... I think these are different representations of universes. Zack went to save Cloud rather than meeting Biggs in Reactor 6, but suddenly he is there???

I feel like the endings wouldn't have gotten the bad rep they did if we had more control in how they played out. Like the suicide mission in ME2. Letting us choose how to use the main war assets. If you choose poorly the bad ending you got. Shepard and his crew dies, and earth is dead but you still defeat the reapers and who is left is able to carry on. Choose well Shepard lives, earth is saved and everyone celebrating. No colour coded choice to make, you get the ending you earn through the choices you make in the battle. And maybe throw in a slid show to tell the state of he galaxy after the reapers are gone. If you replay me2 the endings weren't drastically different. But that state on your team and ship are still personal cause our choices determined their fate.

When DA2 came out I absolutely hated it. I was expecting more DAO type gameplay and my mind could not be changed that 2 was bad. I played it again a few years later and fell in love with it and played it through with each class back to back. A lot of the criticisms are valid. The reused assets are particularly annoying, but overall I love the game.

There are some very talented voice actors out there, I hope they get someone new in and try to seperate the character from the actor.
