I am not someone that sews but this was not a difficult project. Great KZbin video and instructions. I do wish I sized it down a little. Wasn't sure how to do that. I have it all together now and it is too big for me. Any suggestions on alterations to be able to use this one. I love how it turned out it's just too big. I have to wear a baseball cap to keep it from falling over my face. Great job with the instructions and video. Thank you. Beautiful Hat

I got the pattern from MSQ, but have a QUESTION re modifying for size. I need to make the child's size larger. And the instructions are confusing on how to do this. They seem to say to cut away equally at the brim and cone. Can anyone assist me?

You need an embroidery machine. There are no sewing instructions given for the dolls --only machine embroidery instructions.

I made the adorable quilted witches hat! I had some gathering of the hat brim too. BUT I don't think it looks terrible. The "hardest" thing about making the witches hat was quilting the fabrics before cutting out the pieces. It was an easy make and the tutorial helped a lot. Thank you Sew A Story for the pattern and the tutorial.
