@@victorsmialek they def offer it publicly. I can't post the link to their site (YT does not allow links) but they offer different Radical Packages and I was wondering which one you got and whether it was worth what you paid. I've looked into RySpec and other Radical pay for seat packages but want to compare services before dropping 4/5 figures. They say all the right things but want to know if you are getting your money's worth

Great job but thing is I’m not tryna be a Debbie downer but you probably shouldn’t go to inside of the first corner that you took on camera and risk a good Q lap but you made up for it so it’s fine but just remember that

First off, I’m coming onto to the track so I wasn’t even going fast, secondly the angle might look close but I assure you I wasn’t close to him, I would never almost hit him, thirdly everyone else was weaving and I wasn’t even weaving hard. I appreciate the concern for the Marshall but no one was even close to hitting him.

Any advice for someone passionate about racing that wants to get into it?
@victorsmialek
@victorsmialek 7 ай бұрын
@@roadbully7895 depending on your age there are a few options. If you have a car then you can try out time attack or autocross events, they don’t require too much investment or equipment and are still a good way to develop car control. Karting is another one, some karting tracks have organized championships where you just arrive and drive where everyone has the same kart, granted it might not be as fast as a pro kart but it’s still lots of fun and competitive . Looking for a spec series or amateur series is also another option, you can buy a cheap car and track it out, endurance for example can be a decent option since costs can be shared with other drivers and you guys can be a team. I started out in karting like most drivers and thats where most racecraft is learned so that would be a great place to start if you want to take racing further. If any of these options are unavailable or too expensive I think sim racing is the next best thing, a decent set up might be a bit pricey but after that there are no additional costs and it gives you access to loads of cars and tracks. It depends on where you live and what’s available near you, if you live in an area with no racetracks or anything nearby then sim racing is easily the way to go, if you live near a track then check out their website for events or look up series that race near you. I hope I covered most of it, if you got anymore questions just let me know
@roadbully7895
@roadbully7895 7 ай бұрын
Wow man thank you for the insight. I live in NY and it’s limited here on options. I have a karting place in going to head to come spring time but I will look into an amateur series as my next step! Where did you go after karting? Was it straight into single seater cars?
@victorsmialek
@victorsmialek 7 ай бұрын
@@roadbully7895 Basically, after karting I went into formula ford or F1600 it’s called that in Canada and I also raced Lucky Dog Racing Canada which is an amateur endurance series where I raced a tracked but still mostly stock 2013 gt86 for a team. That was my first year in cars. Last year I did a couple races in an F3 car( the one in the video) and now this season I am planning on returning to Drexler Cup and Zinox F2000 Trophy full time.

Yeah, I don’t know why they keep us there for that long, normally we go through the pit lane so I can turn off the car and talk to my team but this year we went straight on the track. In race 1 it surprised everyone and the guy in front of me still had his umbrella with him in the car and had to throw it on the grass on the straight.

And that's called having more HP than your competitor.... Drive is smooth, but clearly a mechanical advantage at play... Just watch from 27:40+ and the unassisted pace (no draft required).... Having raced against the RF98, I can speak to it's aero slippery platform.

I don't think he had an engine advantage. The orange car seemed to lack grip coming off of the final chicane, allowing for him to retake the spot. Otherwise, he wasn't really pulling away.

The orange car lost the throttle return springs about 3 laps in. The car would pin the throttle. Had to clutch kick to slow for the corners and was at a disadvantage on entry and exit. Miracle that it finishedthe race.

i started racing a couple years ago in karting and then I took the jump into cars and formula ford was the only open wheel championship in Canada so we decided to do that and then got a good deal on the car. It was a championship race, it counts towards the Quebec series championship and not the Ontario one as the classes get scored differently and they are separate championships. I'd be happy to answer some more questions you have. Appreciate the comment!
