How you record the sound of your bass guitar? Amp + Mic or Interface + Plugin? I like a lot your tone, I bought the same bass guitar after I saw this video the first time

Bass went into a Tascam MP-BT1 Bass trainer (which also plays the song) into a Zoom Q3HD Recorder. No effects, no compression. Mind though, the sound is a combination of the bass and the bass in the song itself.

Could you tell me what your pickups selection and knobs settings were in this video? Did you use any EQ settings anywhere? Thanks!

Phew, that was a long a time ago. I play 90% of the time only on the bridge pickup. Bass treble settings depends on how old the strings are. I never use eq. This bass has no mid knob (only volume/ tone) but the wood combination gives it some midrange growl. Hope this helps

Thanks! I have the same bass, so yes, I know it has only tone and volume knobs. Do you set tone on 0 and volume on max or what is your preferred combination?

Its been in the case for a long time but tone was probably at 5 or 6. Plus string action is very low.
