@@mzlovelypheapspicy2094 I hope you manage to make it! Stories like yours are so inspiring! We loved Cambodia and we hope to go back one day too as there is so much more we have left to see. All four of us have said it's our favourite country we have ever visited.

I think it is worth a visit, but if you are doing multiple locations around the country you can see probably most of what you'd want to within a couple of days. We saw most of the centre in two or three days but we were there in the hot season and we're retiring back to our hotel just after lunch. Definitely glad we went to Phnom Penh, but we're also pleased we gave more time to Siem Reap.

@@coreana.aesthetics in terms of what we liked, we loved eating at the night market, we enjoyed how vibrant the city was, the museums were really interesting as well, although at times very sombre

@@ahjayjames9219 The toilet was a western style toilet. All the hotel toilets we saw were. There were some places that had a mix of both Western and Squat, such as the internal terminal at the airport. Only places that were squat only were in really remote places like the Bat Cave at Phnom Kulen.

43° is the hottest we've been in, combined with the humidity made for a hard day around the temples! If we go back it will definitely be at a different time of year because of that 😂

Most of the time, yes. There have been occasions where we've travelled and just simply been ready for home by the end though and happy to leave.

It is absolutely stunning 😍 we had 4 or 5 days in the archeological park and feel like we barely scratched the surface as well!

@Rith1221 I would love to, but that is during school time sadly for the little ones. We just missed the Spring equinox by a week or so when we were there which is a shame

I expected Ta Prohm to be my favourite from what I saw before I came out. I admit I didn't even know the likes of these ones were there till we started talking with your guides. Turns out Beng Mealea was my favourite and I didn't know about that one until I was already in Cambodia 🫣

They are 😊 they really wanted to try the insects. I know they are probably more of a tourist gimmick these days, but the kids absolutely loved it!

It really was, and we weren't expecting it! It was really tasty and good value as well. I guess we are too used to places in the UK not putting as much effort in as they did here at Phare!
