Great mix's and the world needs more Neil Degrass Tyson with books out like Astrophysics For People In A Hurry and we should tune into how he explains things A LOT MORE. Also I like how he speaks about things he doesn't like too..bullies and rappers both male and female need to hear this from him because most of them are rude and arrogant. Yes girls, this includes you too...to add my mum n I both hate cardi b, megen stallion but for different reasons.

@WeAreAllAstronauts I can't even express how much your music means to me. I found your channel many years ago, and I was immediately blown away by your talent as well as the beauty of your messages. It's gotten me through a lot of hard stuff, and it is doing that again right now. Would you ever be willing to make a long-play mix like these, with just Alan Watts? Every time I listen to a long play of his work (especially the ones set to music some AI generated and is playing in a loop),, my only thought is "man I really wish the music was WAAA!"

@@murph_mustela I’ll be honest, some transitions fall into place like putting your hand in a glove. Others are like trying to wrestle a gorilla into submission. That one was the latter, but I love that the end result was a fresh take on a wonderful track

I swear you always put these out at the best times for me. I am trying to put in a field report this week... it's so crazy, I spent a week in the outback in the middle of nowhere - and I never saw stars like out there, they looked like your thumbnails - and I was taking data and field samples, and I'm volunteering with a paleo project, and I'm looking for research projects now - it's just so crazy because I feel like I'm really starting to do work like a real scientist, a real geologist - and I discovered your playlists at the end of high school, and I am sure I couldn't have made it through high school without the playlists you put out. And your stuff has had such a strong influence on my music taste, now I already know half the stuff here, but the way you mix it means I can enjoy it like it's a completely new song. I keep thanking you but I have to do it again and again. Please never stop with the music.

Thanks for listening and writing, as always. When I put the mixes together my hope is that even though the songs might be well known the context gives them new life. An honor to be able to influence someone's musical journey too. I wish I could see the stars out in the pristine pitch black desert like that, I bet they look otherworldly. Good luck with the new chapter! p.s. Great to hear you're a fellow researcher too (I work in climate and air pollution fields in my "other life")

I think it's a star. Basic topic for all We Are All Astronauts is space, that we are part of the larger cosmos, that the universe has its own will and you can communicate with it through music, for example. This is what I feel.

Neil Degrass Tyson is bomb because I like how he phrases things even when it comes to explaining something he doesn't like or approve of. 😊So does that mean we'll have more humans if we leave earth and other stars form? Also Immunity (asleep version) is immortalized the point where prayers have literally been said to it.
