I usually use a large punch or chisel and mount it in a vise. This look interesting.

I believe you want acetylene oxygen heat, 350°F is not enough to make the steel race expand. There are several videos on youtube by many mechanics showing this idea works great. There's also a competing product, very similar to this that serves the same purpose. However, You don't need this tool to remove the race w/ acetylene & oxygen torch, Erick from South Main Auto shows how to do it without a tool like this but, this tool makes it much easier and cleaner. As long as this tool is made well, good steel and quality bearing, it should work great.

We just got one using a MAP torch and it did not work after heating for 3-4 min the hub reached 250-350*F while the tool remained 90-150*F. It didn't have any instructions so it's possible I didn't use it correctly but it did not work for me.

I love stick figures in the dark, but after fixing other peoples cars for 38+ years, I just want to build a 67 C10 with 03 Tahoe engine, overdrive automatic trans I bench built last winter with “LU” kit for torque converter and added temp sensor in pan using wires not needs (It is an 87 era 700R4) BCM, PCM and TAC module placed inside in center console, between modified buckets from the same Tahoe. I just done spending SnapOn money for tools I will use a couple of times. Just want a 67 C10 that a 6’3” guy can get into. We can get by with one car payment for my wife’s 2015 Malibu with 27k mile that cost 17,500 but drove 300 miles out of big city cost of high expenses of used car dealer. Besides, my C10 has historical plates and no annual cost of tags, taxes, wheel tax and all SS trim, power windows, RKE, content theft, theater dimming, lamp control, 3:08 final for good MPG, White over Copper Metallic with distressed Colorado Brown 1.3mm leather and White 1.3mm leather on two-tone door trim, console and custom air distribution box instead of tiny OEM w/ac. I am good to go. Just wanted something to drive to grocery store or to Oklahoma to visit grandkids. Show them what Grandpa built. It is a surprise to buy fuel and gather 18 people all with stories of dad, grandad or uncle. Remember, these were build for farmers, like a tractor but cab. Now built for 22 MPG on highway w/P245/75R16 that is a sensible tire, with nice ride qualities. Nice, parts tree! Just can’t afford that new money. But good 2 minute video! DK. ASE Master Tech since 78.

In the procedure for doing the door skin on a 2015 f150 it says that “the SPR fasteners may not be placed directly over original SPR location they must be placed adjacent to original location matching original quantity” with this being my first time doing one at work my question is do I use the same holes as a guide or veer off slightly leaving the old holes empty with drilling new holes right underneath the appliqué?

ordinarily, I would rail against the use of the nose ring for flatbed loading. however, Nissan has positioned the anchor point in the centerline and low enough to minimize angle deflection. If the operator cranks up the park brake, the rear chains and front safeties should be sufficient to haul the car. The eyebolts aren't designed for flatbed loading, only pulling with a light rope behind another car with a driver in the pulled car.

So what the difference then? What exactly changes from a car pulling you with the eye hook and a winch pulling you? Do you think they didnt test the eye hook towing up hill or something? They are designed to pull the veh weight.

SteckMfg the hubby used it everyday on the tow truck. He works at the Post Office now and he is the one that locks his keys in the car lol! I tease him and say he should have taken the lockout kit, knowing full well it too would be locked in the car. He always says, "oh yeah! I totally forget about that!" Thats when I lose my mind laughing so hard.
