Hello, i followed your guide and the PC is booting up, the games are running fine, the heat is present ofc, but the cooling is ok. The only problem is its freezing the PC from time to time. As soon as I clock it down to 3.0 it stops freezing. Any idea why this is happening? I'm having a Q6600 G0 and a GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L motherboard. The RAM modules I'm using are from different manufacturers, 2 are from one, the other 2 are from another manufacturer. Both are 6400 sticks with identical timings. Not sure if the different manufacturers have to do with this or the CPU itself just can't handle the OC... please help :)

Hi i have a q6600 GO paired with a hd 7850 1gb gddr5. I overclocked it to 3 ghz with to stock voltage of 1.25v. I can get 3.22 ghz with Vcore of 1.32v but my concern is my motherboard, I don't want to blow up the vrms. The board is ASUS P5Q-VM it has 4 Chokes on it is that 4 phase? It does not have VRM cooling on it and I am using a Thermaltake contac 16 tower cooler which does not blow on the motherboard, my load temps are 52c while gaming. On the web it says the motherboard supports 136w tdp cpus. Can anyone please give me some advice?

The fact remains that I have this problem as a start Videogame Restart the PC! With any Videogame if instead use the Internet or other programs should be 'perfect! I managed more than once to find the BIOS configurations which allowed me to redere "Stable" the PC and let me play without problems with some games (Fallout 4 * The Witcher 3, Assassins'Creed Syndicate, Dirt Rally, MGS GZ ECC ECC) *** That lately I was enjoying great! instead it crashes with him instead first went perfectly! I followed all directions, many times. All settings in the BIOS stay as I've entered them except one. The CPU Host setting of 400. It will not stick. Every time I launch into Win I check and it's back to 266. Then I go back to BIOS and sure enough it's set to 266 (which is default). So I went ahead and tried all sorts of different combinations. Tried lesser amounts such as 388, 350, so on and so forth. Nothing. No matter what I do it's always 266 instead of the 400 shown in this video.

yes, but its shittons more expensive, plus a lot of motherboards that support ddr2 dont support memory over 8gb
