When essay is alread on one dimentsiom sciecne then u need not explore other dimensions of the essay. When essay is on generam topic like gender issue then u can explain all other dimensions. Here topic itself is a restricted to one dimension. But yea u can be multidimensional let's say on the end while discussing how to develope doubter mindset....here u can discuss role of different agencies like family education media govt to inculcate doubter mindset.

Yes U can no issues. As long as u r relating it with essay topic fluently. Their should not be far fetched relation. And no problem mentioning positive examples of people, event or movies etc. But while using negative examples you should refrain from using direct names.
