I'm so happy that you said that La Casa de Papel is NOT a good show to learn Spanish. So many people advocate it to learn simply because it is a popular (and really good) Netflix show. However, I've heard many native Spanish people say that they have to use subtitles to watch, including you now.

Disfruto sus videos desde hace unas semanas y compré para el principal paquete (I´m doing my best here lol). El link en su pagina por miembros no es funcionar. Hay un tiempo cuando podemos hablar? Quisiera tener su recomendaciones para mejorar mi español en este punto. A veces, estoy frustrado con mi habilidad a eschuchar y hablar. Puedo leer y entender mucho pero a escuchar y hablar queda dificil para mi. Gracias!

¿Acento ^sudamericano^? 😂😂 ¡Por favor! Por mi experiencia, de los europeos que mejor pronuncian el castellano, son los griegos, mejor que los italianos. Me han dejado con la boca abierta, sobretodo los que lo saben bien, y prácticamente lo dominan, cero ^acento^ griego, parecen hablantes nativos. Bueno, el ^truco^ es que en la fonética son muy parecidos el castellano y el griego, de hecho los hispanoparlantes podemos pronunciar muy bien el griego. Recomiendo el griego es un idioma muy hermoso e interesante, además uno aprende muchas cosas del castellano, porque tenemos cientos o miles de palabras de origen griego.😅 Greetings from Chile.

I recently began dabbling in my Spanish learning journey with Duo lingo (current language score 21...yikes!). I've recently watched a lot of KZbin videos about different strategies for learning Spanish. Most of them say that the key to acquiring (not learning) a language is "comprehensible input". I found your web site while searching with these key words. I have to say, I find your pronunciation muy maravilloso! I'm a Texan, so I have a difficult time trilling my "r"s properly. Yours is just beautiful, and I would love to progress to the level where I could approximate your accent! I have subscribed and rang that bell, so I look forward to hearing from you on a regular basis, now. Q1: Is there any way for me to have one-on-one conversations with others who are learning Spanish? Or better yet, is there a way for me to connect with other native Spanish speakers who perhaps would trade time for learning English? Q2: At what learning level might I be at a point wherein my Spanish would be sufficient to have a decent conversation with another native speaker without wasting their time?

Hermano, me doy cuenta de que eres Mexicano por tu acento. No quiero parecer racista. Aquí en Zamboanga, además de hablar Chavacano (criollo español) también tenemos el dialecto español que se llama Castellano Zamboangueño y se basa en Castellano Filipino y tiene palabras españolas antiguas como Mánada(Mucha), Albardán (Payaso), Quémodo(Cómo), Medina(Ciudad), Medinajero (Ciudadano), Desilla(Derecha), Demano (Izquierda) etc. Espero que puedas entender estas palabras del español antiguo que quedan tan presentes en nuestro dialecto español. Soy de Reino Unido pero ahora, yo vivo en México. We learnt the introduction of Spanish European nothing much (makes sense as the UK is in Europe) BUT....this didn't prepare me for Mexico. I have noticed in Spain they use "Usted" more than "Tu" and in Mexico the language seems more friendly and less formal plus we have the tongue roll versus the lisp. I am now starting to learn Spanish (Mexican) from the start because I feel like I know nothing. Puma Vs bolígrafo, Carro vs Coche. I am currently struggling with some pronunciations such as my least favourite words "literatura" and " Dinosaurio" words that are similar to English sounding words. My brain wants to say It in english. What's the difference between caminar and pasear like Quiero pasear en el parque hoy. Why not quiero caminar en el parque?. I understand that words ending in "endo" are present tense (I think 🤔) like caminando, mirando, cocinando.
