First you rock! Second I was able to get it in four tries. Never got the power up just died and finally power jumped up the wall and got the capsule hadouken deal. But! Down forward shoot ⬇️➡️ 💥 is all to shoot. So down left shot or down right shoot. And if it helps to roll from bottom to forward then shot that works also

This wasn't in Tips and Tricks in 1995/1996! LOL...and I didn't discover GameFaqs til after I moved on from Sega Games and was playing Playstation, N64 and Saturn games. Damn, I would've loved to have heard this back in the day. It's crazy that so many games had cheat codes we didn't know about. We knew about Mortal Kombat ones and most but games like this fell through the cracks in this era I guess of the end of the Genesis.

It works

I NEVER beat this game, but I also didn't have the codes as a kid because GameFaqs wasn't around just yet. But yeah I used that as my go to in 97 and onwards, but by that time I guarantee I sold the game at Funcoland to buy a game I enjoyed playing. This wasn't a big enough game that is got the "playground discussions" just not on the friends I had but anyone, but no one knew of the Invincibility/Level select because it wasn't in EGM and EGM 2, or Tips and Tricks or Gamepro even. For bigger games the codes went around on the playground in 3rd/4th grade with the gun code password for Mortal Kombat...clearly a necessity haha, but of course once I found it out, I never went without it. GamesFAQ's was clearly a very important creation just after that game...but I either had already sold the game out of frustration, or I just never played it any more and moved on at that point. When GameFAQS came out it was a major change in gaming with easily accessible cheats, walkthroughs, and specialty faqs about weapons in the game itself. I am so glad they came to be because even before it was with Final Fantasy IV-VI, there was no way to play it without using it. I loved strategy guides, to be honest. They always had fun extra information on the story (which was relevant to the stories), and it was just good to have a picture go to before laptops were ownable by anyone less than 30 years old. So for Gamefaqs it really came down to writing the codes down (built-in), or printing the pages on your crappy top lab HP basic printer. I printed more strategy faqs on my printer than Strategy Guides and I bought A LOT of those (100+)...usually Prima and Brady Games. They were of GREAT quality and usually any cheat codes if there were any.
