Omgshhh amazing! Have you already gotten a job or are you working on the steps to secure one? My biggest piece of advice would be to stay open-minded! It is/can be a wonderful life but it can also be stressful and I predictable- like most things in life- but it can be a bit trickier when you’re abroad. Be honest with yourself about what you can handle. You may get there and be like absolutely not and that’s okay!! And last but not least really research and look into what Kuwait is like and see if you realistically see yourself being there. I’m giving you all the luck!!! I loved my time there! 😍

So how is the trip from the airport to hostel/hotel and also going back to airport? Does someone verify they are with EF? Are you alone? Ect. Asking for safety reasons.

Yes! You will be notified about who your contact person will be. They will coordinate pickups by flight times. Same process for when you go home. So you will go with the group in a like a big tour bus. This is also how we got around the city, together on the bus.

Hi just came across this video, and I can see through your eyes what a beautiful soul you have, thanks for opening up my heart and mind, I couldn’t help but tear up through out the video as well because I also moved to the gulf at 22 specially to Qatar for work and I absolutely related to you being the first in the family to experience that but unfortunately my relocation was short lived because I failed the employment visa medical , I was absolutely broken , depressed and felt like I didn’t wanna live anymore, going through that at a young age like that was something I was not expecting, I always prayed for my breakthrough and thought 2022 was the year , since I came back to my country I couldn’t accept the hard reality of starting over again , thinks are starting to get better for me now in 2024 and your video has also helped me a lot . I pray that one day I can go back to Qatar it’s been the best 3 months of my life over there as well as the hardest when I found out I was not fit to live in the country, inshallah I will be back in Qatar one day 🤍

Thanks so much for watching! The camera I am using is getting me through my journey. I hope to one day upgrade but for right now it works. I don’t want to get so focused on having the right camera and right mic ect and miss out on the more important part which is sharing the story of my life here. The intro is pretty simple to me 🤣and it showcases my personality/different aspects of who I am which is what I really love about it! Thanks for the feedback 😊

Like at any point during the day it gives 😩😩😩LMAOOO not the wash n go 😭😭I used to be sooo bad about leaving the laundry 🫣but now I have a 2in 1 washer and dryer so I can just push the button and not have to transfer 🤣at first I hated it but I think it’s a life hack honestly!

it’s the safest country on earth. i hit the pearl one time in doha and this lady left her purse. it was there the whole hr while we were sitting and drinking. she came back and still in the same spot. wildest thing i’ve ever seen

You're young enough to be my daughter and your video inspired me to be even more open about my daughter's upcoming journey to college this fall and soon after to be studying abroad, as a young black woman.
