coming back and watching this as they have gotten much more notoriety of the last 10 years is hilarious.

Oh, thank you so much! Rik is my favorite guitarist and the biggest guitar influence, because I learn to play my electric guitar. I was very happy to watch your videos with him and Donnie Mancuso who is my treasured friend and my teacher in theoretical basics of guitar playing!

My God, it's just spectacular! Dear Phil, you will never be forgotten! What a great voice! Dear Dee, my sweet friend, you are amazing! Your soloing and guitar playing are so emotional and sincere! I hope that I can do the same... I promise to work hard, because you will put your soul in our guitar lessons. Thank you for everything!

@@tmakworld6916 I want to lend assistance (sorry, I don't know your name) and to stay with you in the hour of need. I did not know Phil in person, but I saw his soul in many songs. He seems to be kind and humble. I'm from Moscow and I love to discover good music and what good music discovers in me. I work as a translator of medical records, write small poems and learn to play the electric guitar. I just took my interview with Dee (my favorite rock vocalist is Louis Grammatico, that's why I found him to know more facts about a band BLACK SHEEP) and we could build a real friendship. He is a warm-hearted person and my guitar teacher! I will prepare and take my interview from Joe, Phil's brother. Let's be good friends too and share our loving memory together! I will be happy to keep in touch! Love and peace from Russia!

couldn't agree more about his comments about "people not appreciated music in the same way"...when an album came out, i remember getting into every aspect of it (ie: the production, the album art, who wrote the songs, where it was recorded, who played what on it, etc)- people don't generally "immerse" themselves in music anymore...

i have to think they lasted so long in large part because of a complete lack of ego tripping.comes across as a very pleasant and humble guy.

Really great song. Just came across this band when I overheard the drummer talking to another passenger on a flight from London to Toronto. Pleased I did. Great rock'n'roll band.

I liked the unvarnished quality of this interview. I especially liked Troy's interview. You don't get to hear that kind of honesty in these promotional bits. Most of the time, everybody says how great everything is all the time. This felt and sounded real. There's a BIG difference in the sound of this album compared to the first which is obvious from even the little bits posted. There's a slicker (not to be taken perjoratively), more contemporary sound to the production and there's definitely a better blend among the instruments. The band also has a recognizable sound - if I heard the second album without knowing who it was I would have no problem saying "that's Druckfarben". This is especially the case in the harmonic changes. This band is too talented and creative not to have a decent following. All the best.
