Valerie, quite literally you are such a beautiful soul and I'm so glad our paths crossed. 1:43 any reasons for dying here? because ive gotten 1 shotted from angel dashes aswell and from what ive seen here, i dont know what you did wrong? x_x

So the dash damage seems to be distance based, and you can kind of see that the dash is a little less than directly across (its to the left of both A/C) so its a little bit of a shorter dash, so it does more damage. That plus, i'm convinced the person whos turn it is will just explode if they're taking the hit first. Its only really 5/7 who has this issue, so I tend to shield extra on those players - plus this is also only an issue on crafted gear/weak gear.

To point out, the last 4 are the inverse of the first 4. So in reality the first 2 or 3 angels should tell you the entire pattern.

btw you only need to 2 man the aoe at the end of the dash, you can take the boss dash alone and its 100% fine so if you have lets say 1/3 , 1 goes into position and 3 close but not directly on top you still resolve the limit cut but you take less overall damage ( might be relevant for the later numbers where sometimes people blow up

My favourite is the dogshit pattern because normally I'm not allowed to do callouts, but I call BEAM for this mechanic, and yelling BEAM BEAM BEAM BEAM is very exciting.

IF YOU DIE - It depends whether or not you did your job. If you did your job, you can rez after the boss is targettable again, you can't rez before since it goes through invuln. There's a mit check for the aoe after so if you're mitting, you better haul your ass up.

From what I can gather it seems like she always spawns on a corner. So facing her odds left, evens right and 1/3 always start at opposite corner. When taking a dash try to be at a corner since it minimizes dmg due to it being proximity and when baiting laser you need to be closer than the wall but not too close because cleave probably one-shots.

Going to the corner is the most ideal way to do it, but it also depends cause going to a corner could take away the free space for the beam baiters. Some combinations require you to kind of scooch in front of the puddle cause they take so long to go off

the other side needed to place their puddle down in the corner rather than next to the puddle. otherwise the damage gets 2x'd due to the distance between the puddle placements on each side

Basically when you’re 5/7, depending how people move, the distance travelled by the dash will be the shortest from 4-5. Like what the person above me said, people hugging puddle will cause this to happen since the dash damage is determined by proximity and distance travelled from point A-B. While people could technically adjust puddle to make this less likely to happen, I opted to give the 5/7 numbers just an extra bit of mit (ie; tauro or crit shield). You can see me do it in some of the other examples later on. This also is kind of a week 1 issue and might not be as big of a problem once people have gear.
