That's a great question actually, because I've never really thought about it! If I may start with how it's written in Japanese, Mugendai Mewtype is written as 夢限大みゅーたいぷ. The usual way to write Mugendai (meaning "infinity", usually to describe potential or possibilities) is 無限大, but they replaced that first kanji with 夢 ("mu" meaning "dream"). So this unique way of writing Mugendai could mean something like "infinite dreams" or "dreams with endless possibilities". The second part, Mewtype, is a bit tricky. It probably comes from "Newtype", like a new type of band perhaps, which being a virtual youtuber band, I'd say they're quite different from the current 9 Bandori bands. "Newtype", as a word, is apparently a higher breed of human in the Gundam universe, and also the name of a popular anime magazine. Now I know a lot of people might be wondering, how is Mugendai Mewtype abbreviated to "Yumemita"? The "mi" and "ta" indeed come from Mewtype ("myuutaipu"), but what about the "Yume"? Remember the first kanji 夢 ("mu" meaning "dream")? It can also be read as "yume"! And "Yumemita" as a word means literally "(I/we) saw a dream" or simply "(I/we) dreamed", which I think is genius! So that's my interpretation of how the name came about. Hope I wasn't too confusing!

This is just a program and has little to do with the anime, but anyway the anime (both MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica) is a complete 180-degree turn from the kirakira dokidoki Bandori we once knew, but in a spectacular way. I've been a fan since Season 1 but the MyGO!!!!! anime already blew my mind. Absolutely worth the watch imo!
