It’s kind of stupid. Why don’t US and Canada create a free zone and put the border somewhere inside, like between Colombia and Venezuela. You can go to Cúcuta, Colombia, but does not give you any right to stay, only to visit or to go shopping, because the real port of entry is further in a city called Pamplona. The same in Venezuela. It’s so practical, funny and safe for everybody in those two countries.
