Nice footage Doug. Where did you launch from? Looking to come here soon.

Oh man... that was ages ago! I believe it was Minot Beach. It was definitely a stretch on my signal but we pulled it off :-) Sorry for the delayed response!

I'm with you on dust - but why so much and then nothing? It's just weird. And we don't have a rodent problem either. There are no droppings and we've had the place well covered with traps throughout the basement. That was a suspicion of mine too.

How to know when it's time to change your filters and clean your ducts.
@DougEllis8 ай бұрын
We have no ducts. It's a 202 year old building. We have steam, but I've never heard the system make any noise in the kitchen. That is worth investigating though.

Most likely dust from ventilation/air movement. The IR reflects brightly on even small objects when they're close to the camera.

I lived on Assebet St in Hudson in 1956, in an old house at the end of a dead end street. There were grape vines, sheep, cabbage patches - and old families that had been there since time began. I had the opportunity to visit in 2012, it's all still there, even the old families. It was a magical place to be a kid, I'd do it again if I could.

Good morning sir. I enjoyed tje areal video shots you've provided. I actually use to live in Salem Mass back in the early 80's . Wow the famous witch city has undergone some interesting changes to say the least. Im a native born Bronx New Yorker living in the S.W region now and have been for a few decades now. But the city i once lived has certainly made a few changes. Perhaps one day i will get to go back and visit the beauty and rich historical Salem. Again thank's for sharing. Buon Natale.

You mean the anti-mason videos created by people with an agenda (usually making money) or hitting back after being thrown out for breaking the rules (for example trying to use membership for personal gain is an automatic expulsion). The only secrets in masonry are the signs, grips and passwords that act as a proof of membership at a lodge where you're not known. By your logic keeping your bank details secret is a bad thing, or the password to your computer.
@mariusdire12 жыл бұрын
Ah, someone who doesn't know the first thing about Freemasonry trying to come over all knowledgeable. You're talking nonsense, you've obviously never been within an open lodge otherwise you'd know just how ridiculous you sound.
@tubaljohn112 жыл бұрын
You wouldn't come in my Lodge my friend.
@mariusdire12 жыл бұрын
You'll be invited to come down to the lodge to meet the members, have a chat with them so you can ask any questions you have. If you don't know anyone there then they'll arrange someone to act as your proposer and seconder, you'll have a formal interview about why you want to join and to make sure you've got a clear record. All being well you get balloted at a meeting and the next one is your initiation.

Like I said find your nearest lodge, if you're having difficulty look up the Grand Lodge you come under, google Grand Lodge of [put the name of your state if you're in the USA, country, if you're in the UK it will either be Scotland, Ireland or England and then you can use the site to find what province you come under]. They'll have a list of the regular lodges and the contact details of the secretary.

If you're old enough (21 in most jurisdictions) believe in a supreme being (Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, any faith is welcome) have a clean criminal record and a man you can join. Just find your nearest lodge, should be in the phone book, and speak to the secretary about coming along and meeting the members. The tin foil hat stuff is generally made up by people who got turned down or thrown out for bad behaviour.

Sorry to take so long in replying, Freemasonry are a secular fraternity which grew from the stonemason guilds of the medieval period. During the enlightenment era nonmasons joined and slowly during the 15/1600's the lodge became a place of moral instruction and a haven for free thinking. These days as well as encouraging members to live moral lives we do huge amounts of charitable work (roughly $5 million a day world wide I've heard said). We also have fun while doing it.

But maybe your threats of hell are a symptom of your intolerance for other views, that is an anathema to me and to anyone who can look beyond the thin veneer of differences. Need you be reminded of the Samaritan parable? It wasn't the ones who shared the wounded man's views who helped him, but the one the man would have threatened with damnation for being different.

As for our brief mortal span, any brother has had that lesson inculcated in his from his third step in masonry. But rather than treat that inevitability with trepidation we each see it as another step, each brother has his own beliefs as to what lies after, and masonry doesn't teach any theory on that score, merely that it is to our personal faith that we should look for that knowledge. Masonry merely teaches that here all men are equal, to aid those in need and live by our personal faith.
@mariusdire12 жыл бұрын
Where's your proof, if you are so confident in what you believe why would you not show evidence. The simple fact is you have none, all you have is the bigoted and benighted views of those who were refused membership, thrown out for attempts to misuse it and deliberate misquotes, lies or twisting of words from books mostly likely centuries out of date. I try to square my actions with what is right, to treat all on the level and not to deviate too far off centre, that's masonry's lessons.
@mariusdire12 жыл бұрын
Now you're just making things up, you have no proof so simply admit it.
@mariusdire12 жыл бұрын
So it would have been safer without Winston Churchill (Who led Britain against the Nazi's), Edward Jenner (the father of immunisation), Alexander Flemming (the discoverer of antibiotics), George Washington (don't think I need to explain what he did). I beg to differ. Your posting that just demonstrates an inability to look past what you've been told and see the reality.

Then you know nothing of Freemasonry, who as a fraternity have done more good in this world than almost any other group you could care to name. Consider that every day five million dollars are donated to charity by masons, and are in the UK second only to the national lottery in giving to worthy causes (and the lottery draws from millions of people, there are only about a quarter of a million masons in the UK.
@mariusdire12 жыл бұрын
Nope. Freemasonry grew from the stonemasons craft (notice that word) guilds of the middle ages. Craftsmen within a guild lodge would refer to what they do as 'the craft', as Freemasons consider themselves to be acting as symbolic stonemasons, shaping and refining themselves morally and spiritually they refer to the way they do that as the craft.

became Prince Hall Freemasonry. For the most part, once black men began to join Freemasonry in the UK, they were accepted as brothers, hence why there's nothing like Prince Hall masonry in the UK, likewise when the British Empire came to places like India there are reports of men from all creeds and castes eating together as brothers, the only difference being in what was on their plates.
@mariusdire12 жыл бұрын
Actually Prince Hall was initiated into a lodge under the Irish constitution which was attached to a British regiment. After the war of independence the American lodges didn't want to admit black men, so Prince Hall was given a warrant by the English Grand Lodge to form his own lodge. Eventually, in part due to the impossibility of communicating the English Grand Lodge, and with several other all black lodges forming, Prince Hall formed a Grand Lodge to administer the organisation which [cont]
