I was 14 years old in about 1985 when I also learned to do burnouts when no one was looking at the local grain elevator where I had a job for the summer. This is exactly what I learned to flog illegally in the neighborhood!

My father bought a metallic copper 1969 383 automatic SuperBee brand new back in 69 and as a kid I loved that car like it was a family member, all I have left is the engine and the air cleaner lid with the 383 magnum print, it broke my heart when I was hit by another car and it was totaled, the thing is that now I could probably have had the car fixed but not back then…..I had the engine totally rebuilt with plans on putting it in another body but that has not happened yet, old muscle is out of the world expensive, I remember back in the late 70s and early 80s you could buy about any muscle car for 1000 to 2500 hundred dollars, in fact my brother bought a 1972 brougham edition SE Charger with a 440 for 800 dollars and it was a mean and beautiful car!

Never use that Scotch-Brite you can round off the corners plus that crap gets into your engine you guys need to learn how to do your stuff a little better you only use a wood chisel scraper and don't scratch your parts you don't use Scotch Brite

I miss mine and it was a 70 charger with 318 / 2 bbl / auto! General Lee replica! I had to leave Little Creek Virginia for a Med Cruise and came back to a cube of metal with my plate on top! Found out the car lot I got it from had it stripped while I was gone! Now I'm a disabled veteran without my favorite car!

In 1975, the year I graduated high school, I bought a 1964 Fury convertible from a seedy little car lot in Buffalo NY. It was a teal color with a black top and interior. Had the 318 “ Poly” block and push button transmission. It had 64k miles on it. I paid $700 for it and think I borrowed $600 from my Dad. He said I was crazy paying that much for an 11 yr old car. I drove that car for 2 1/2 years and put about 60k MORE miles on it. Ended up junking it after the transmission went. Good times in that car. STILL think about it.
