I really wish some label would enlist Jamie to remaster Sunrise Over A Sea of Blood by Mortal Treason or Legions Bow to a Faceless God by As Hope Dies. He's consistently proven his skill at remastering albums while preserving their original vibe and essence. A great remaster from him could elevate these classic metalcore records to a whole new level.

You bring up an excellent point. When you stop to think about it, there are thousands of decent albums by amazing bands that could really benefit from a modern Polish from a proven producer like Jamie. Someone should start negotiating on the artist's behalf.

Maybe so. Also potentially likely is that the song writing process being digital as well as the recording process never allowed for a soul to begin with. Do you think the sterility of most modern mixes has been implicit in the downturn in the sales and overall fan base of metal in general?
